Perfect
Love that the string for the bow can be adjusted to make these tighter or looser. Just what I was hoping for in terms of size and color! Toddler size 9

Amazing quality at a great price! Fits my daughter perfect!
I am very impressed with the Bloch Dance Dansoft Ballet Slipper! I can tell it is fabricated with excellent quality. Most importantly, my daughter loves them! I was a little worried about ordering ballet shoes online, but after reading the reviews I was comfortable with what size I should order my daughter. She is only 3 and wears a size 9 in shoes. When we tried on the ballet slippers at Payless I had her in a 10 and it was too wide (plus the quality was not very good). After reading the reviews I ordered a half size bigger, so I got her a 9.5 M (what I received was a 9.5 D, the reviews have very helpful hints for what size to order). When I took the ballet slippers out I was worried they weren't going to fit her. They looked small, but they actually fit perfect with a little bit of room in the toes! I am so glad I ordered a half size bigger instead of a full size! The ties on the front can be pulled to make sure the slipper fits her foot perfect. She didn't want to take her shoes off she was so excited! So, I was able to get a better quality ballet slipper for a lower cost than Payless! Overall, I would highly recommend these ballet slippers!!!! Pictured below: I hadn't tightened the strings of the bow yet, my daughter was too excited to have them on!

Not too bad
I wasn’t able to find the version without the tie in my daughter’s size so I went with this pair. The nice thing about the tie is that you can cinch it or loosen it to fit to your child’s specific foot width. The annoying thing is that the strings come untied very easily. Solution is to tuck them into the shoe, however, this is uncomfortable and can leave marks on your child’s foot as the knot tends to dig. I’d rather get the version with the single elastic strap and no tie but if the ability to adjust width is important to you then this one would work.

Great ballet shoe, reasonably priced
When my daughter started dance they required either Bloch or Capezio shoes. We initially bought some Capezio shoes from a brick and mortar store. They were a bit roomy and while the shop owner assured me it would be fine, I decided to shelve the Capezios for a while and try to find a smaller size shoe after my daughter tried the Capezios several times and seemed to dislike wearing them. I prefer these Blochs to the Capezio. The construction feels stronger and the fit feels more molded. The top part of the shoe is comparable between the two but the area around the sides of the foot has more give to it on the Blochs without feeling flimsy. The leather sole on the bottom is shorter and more narrow on the Bloch shoes. My daughter seems to prefer this as I think it gives her foot more flexibility. The fabric on the inside of the shoe is softer on the Blochs which makes for a more comfortable fit. Both shoes have elastic ties. The Capezios are significantly longer, and the elastic is more 'slippery.' Several people recommended to me that I put a double knot and cut off the extra because tying them would never stay, and I found this to be true. On the Blochs I was able to double knot it which has been working great. Overall, I think both brands are good, but my preference is for Bloch. We'll definitely be purchasing more Bloch shoes in the future.

Best fitting dance shoes for toddler boy with wide feet
We ordered the X-Wide 7.5 toddler size for our son who has very wide feet. His usual size is 7. Finding regular shoes is already a struggle, so we had to find wide ballet shoes, and these fit perfectly. He's actually happy to wear them.

Much better than the ballet shoe brands found at Target and Payless.
Much better quality and fit than the ones we tried on at Target and Payless. Very happy with them. My daughter wears 12-13 depending on the brand of shoes (we ended up buying tap shoes in size 12 1/2 at Payless). Bought size 13 and they fit great with room to spare (but not too much). The little bow at the front is functional, it allows you to tighten the shoe to fit. I am learning that ballet shoes are on the wide end of the spectrum and they all have that functional bow that allows you to tighten up the width (at least the ones we tried at Target and Payless had that same feature, if I remember correctly). BTW, if you are new to ballet (which we are), I discovered that my daughter is the rare child in her class with black ballet shoes... maybe should have bought the ballet pink ones? I don't think she minds, and they will stay looking better longer because they will hide dirt, but if you have a child that feels very self conscious if they stand out in some way, maybe stick with the pink/nude color.
