Easy to use, lightweight, does a great job
My wife uses this for edging and weed eating. She wanted something light and easy to use, and this trimmer/edger fit the bill perfectly. She totally loves it, and it works just as well as my Ego timmer for small jobs. I would definitely recommend it, and would buy it again.

Great Purchase
I had one just like this that I have used for three summers and the bearing was going bad. Bought another one to replace my old one. I have six batteries and three chargers. Each battery last approximately 20 - 25 min each and takes about 4 hours to recharge. Would defiantly recommend buying more than one battery.

Truely a light weight lawn trimmer
Very easy to use, and very light in weight. Drawback is that it would need more batteries for a large lawn, cause one battery only lasted for 2/3 of my lawn trim work.

VERY SATISIFIED
At first i didn,t know....the user manual said trimmer & i didn,t see ow it could become a edger. Well today i gave it a try. Very nice i weed wacked & trimmed. The battery life wasn,t that long. thats what i think. I didn,t ime it, you know how long i ran it but when it ran out of juice it just stopped. So i charged It back up & about 3 + hours for a full charge & tomorrow i,ll go at it again.But very easy to handle lightweight & i guess the length of run time is shortened because of the machines size. Overall i must say again that i am very satisfied ...always with Amazons service & thank you Amazon & seller. satisfied customer..ps the users manual has it listed as a trimmer & edger is not mentioned. everybody will love those edgers....

Good for trimming around sidewalks & etc
Battery does die fast, but works well for trimming around small areas, had to order a extra battery to use for longer.

Works Great
This thing works great. Weights half as much as my old one. Love that you can adjust the length of the shaft. Battery takes a while to change but that's not that big of deal to me. Very happy with this purchase.

You’ll need a bigger battery!
I love this lightweight weed eater however I wish it would have come with a bigger battery. The battery only lasts about 20 minutes and you can’t get very much accomplished in 20 minutes.

Easy & lightweight, great for everyday use
I bought this because it was lightweight, even though other reviews said it wouldn’t do difficult jobs and the battery life was short. I’m so glad I ignored those negative reviews! It is SO light weight! I used it for half an hour until my hand cramped, but the battery was still decent. It took multiple passes over weeds with stalks 2-3cm thick, but it cut through. I doubt it would work on anything thicker than that. I even did an area dense with with weeds, thick crab grass, and other taller grasses. It took 3-4 minutes. (See before and after pics.) This is only my first day of use, but so far I’m very pleased with how easy it is to use.

thaT WAS definitely an impulse buy after getting frustrated with my old corded trimmer. ladies, it's 2021 and we all deserve better than 5 fuxxing electrical extensions plugged back to back from the patio all the way to the front of the house. fuxx dis. i was super skeptical about battery life but i'm impressed longtime milwaukee user but i'll definitely consider buying more black and decker tools from now on also not too heavy im a super small girl (under 100lbs) and had no problem handling this

Rendimiento muy corto.
Lo compré porque tengo un taladro de la misma marca y utiliza la misma batería, así que de esta forma tendría 2 baterías para asegurar un mayor tiempo de trabajo. ERROR. Aún con 2 baterías su rendimiento es muy pobre. Muestra buena potencia los primeros 5 minutos, de ahí en adelante seguirá trabajando pero muy lento que les hará pasar vergüenzas. Me arrepiento de no haber escogido una de cable. Antes utilicé la st4500 la cual es de cable, de 400w, es de las más pequeñas de la marca y su rendimiento es mucho mejor. Es muy práctico no tener que cargar cables pero una desbrozadora, por las RPM que maneja, requiere más que una batería de 20v. Les servirá para mantener a raya un pasto que no haya crecido y en un patio realmente pequeño, pero para pasto crecido o hierba, o patios grandes, no se los recomiendo.

Lacks power/RPMs
Charged this thing to full power and it still wasn't generating enough RPM to properly cut the grass, let alone do edging. It got weaker and weaker with only yards of cutting work and in the end was only flattening the grass I was trying to cut. To make things worse the automatic wire feeder wasn't working and there's no manual override for it like there was on my old Ryobi, which absolutely put this thing to shame. Do not buy this thing. Spend the money and get something more powerful. It's a waste of money.

Best Trimmer I've Ever Had!
I just used this Black and Decker trimmer for the first time this season and I was very impressed with it. I replaced my old 12 volt B&D with this 20 volt and I can really tell the difference in power. It is a super quiet machine and very light to hold. Also, you can adjust the length of the handle to make it longer which is great for taller people. Battery needs to be charged after about 20 minutes of use....which can be a drag if you have a big lawn. I bought a spare battery so that I can have another one ready at all times. No gas fumes and no cranking. I love it!
