Best black head remover ever

I was skeptical at how affective this product would be especially bc I had a ton of blackheads in the hardest area, creases of my nose. I couldn’t cover it up with make up bad. I used one strip and I couldn’t believe how many it removed. My nose was almost clear good. I was like omg finally!!! It leaves a sticky residue afterwards which you need to rinse off which is fine bc you want to treat any redness left behind with a cleanser or lotion but I can’t rave enough about how amazing this product is! There is two bands in the box at that. One for your nose and one for your face which I forgot about and you’ll notice it by how it fits so check to see if it’s nose or face before putting it on. I want to say after 3 strips the sides of my nose are clear. I noticed after I used a cleanser before it the smaller black heads showed up better giving the strip more leverage to pull them out. So if you have small ones use a cleanser first then the strip. It’ll get the big ones without cleanser as long as your skin is lightly wet. If your nose is too wet it’ll slip a bit when you put it on and take longer to dry. If anything the biggest thing is lightly wet your nose then make sure it is officially hardened otherwise it won’t grab a lot out. The stickiness afterwards is easy to get rid of with a cleanser. It is freaking amazing to have clear sides on my nose and have extras I didn’t really pay much attention to come out that were on the top of my nose. It will get ones on the bottom of your nose out but you gotta make sure you have it on right. Honestly I’ve never paid much attention to the rest of my nose seeing no one is going to study your entire nose, but after how it cleared up the sides of my nose (got 2 small ones left barely noticeable) I’m going to try and clear up the rest. Why not right? I’ll sum up this rant with I avoid all cost at touching my nose now that it’s clear

Okay, not a miracle worker

I purchased these to help me get my skin back. Part of that process involves reducing my blackheads. I hoped this would help me clear some of my stubborn blackheads before applying a product that would help me keep them clear. While this did clear some of the blackheads, it left a lot behind, too. It also hurt, and was kind of messy to use. You also have to be diligent in how you apply these and keep smoothing it out on your skin, or it will naturally start to crease and leave areas of your skin untouched where the strip creases away from your skin. Even if you are diligent, once you peel it away, it leaves a lot to be desired. This may work better for someone whose skin is younger (I’m in my mid-30s and losing elasticity), and who has much larger pores/blackheads. Be mindful that you also have to wait about 15-20 minutes to allow the strip to dry before you take this off, so work that time into your skincare routine if you give this a try. This was my first time using this, and it will probably be my last. I feel like there are more effective and less painful ways to clear your pores.

I’m still not sure about it

It seemed to pull quite a bit out on my nose, I was extremely impressed. I did the other areas on my face that needed it & it didn’t seem to work. I looked in my makeup mirror & I still have so many blackheads on my face, my nose too. I’ll give it a few more tries but I’m hoping it still pulled some dirt & oils out that I just couldn’t see well. I guess we’ll see!

Review written by the Mrs: I'm a loyal buyer of the Bioré pore strips and I am happy to pay a bit more as I really do believe no other brand works as well. I like this packet as it contains both the nose and face strips at a competitive price (although you could probably get them at a similar price in Superdrug or Boots when they have a promotion is on). If you follow the instructions carefully, wash your face before use, then wet the area you want to apply the pore strip on - although I usually wet my entire face and gently dry it after I have applied the strips on my nose and chin as I feel they stick better to very wet skin - and then leave to dry until they feel completely hard (usually 15-20 min). Once hard it is best to slowly (very slowly) pull one side of the strip while holding down the skin underneath (then proceed with the other side so the two meet in the middle). It might be a bit more painful then pulling them off fast but it will get more of the dirt out (there's quite a number of tutorials on YouTube for the best way to remove). I recommend using them once a week to help keep your pores clean.

Best pore strips available.

I love these. I have been using these for 10+ years. I have tried other brands but none compare. It is important to read the instructions and follow them properly otherwise they will do nothing. They don't resolve clogged pores (it is still important to have a good skin care routine - clense, tone, moisturise) but they do help reduce the visible size of them when used regularily. My husband started using them (and cleansing am + pm) and the pores on his nose have halved in size. I get brilliant results with loads of sebum on the strips when I remove them and these are the steps I follow 1.Clense with a wash off clenser to remove facial oil and dirt 2. Steam my face or stand with hot water running on my face in shower for atleast 5mins 3. Dry hands and immediately apply strips to wet face. You can apply a bit of water ontop if needed but be careful as too much washes away alot of the glue. The strip should stick well and feel slightly damp but not wet. 4. Leave on until strip has dried solid - like paper mache (Sometimes i use a hair dryer to help speed this up) and then remove by holding the skin taut and removing slowly from the edge to the middle then repeat for the other wise until the whole strip is off (it can be uncomfortable). 5. Throughly rinse face with cold water to remove reminents of glue and close pores. Wait atleast an hour before putting make up on - longer the better otherwise you'll just clogg your pores right back up.

Fun to use

My boyfriend ordered these, as he is obsessed with removing blackheads from his nose. Initially I thought that they are a useless product, until I tried them. Now we are both obsessed, and there is something so satisfying about pulling this off of your nose. We keep making our friends try it when they come over, and now they are ordering as well. Its a fun product, that actually works!

I have tried all kinda of pore strips including the black peel off masks that the internet has rated so highly and tbh it was crap! These are the only ones that acually pull the dirt out and make my skin look lovely. I'd recommend not buying those internet trend ones and stick to these!

Worth a try!

For me it worked and I am very happy. I cleansed my nose firstly then put some thick facial clay on my face for 15 mins after which i washed off quickly and placed on the pore strip and it actually worked. Definitely going to take me some time to refine the process but I am quite happy with the results and would recommend to at least try.
