Great scale for weight loss and maintaining
As someone who is trying to lose weight, the Etekcity Scale for Body Weight is a great tool to have in my arsenal. It's a scale that also gives you vital readings for your health, BMI, fat, metabolic age, etc. Pretty accurate if you ask me, keeping track of my fat so I could see how fat I am. So to use this scale, you have to download an app so it could tell you all this info, or else it would just be a normal digital scale. the battery last forever if you only weigh yourself occasionally. you have to take off your socks and stand on the scale and put your feet on the metal contact point to get the reading. The app is intelligent enough to recognize different people on the scale so it would have personalized data set for each person, so you could use the same scale for the whole family and don't need to worry if other people vital will go into the same set of data.

it works
It's accurate. price you can't beat it. connects to the phone that's a plus. was within .01 with my other scale. it is kinda small and it will give varying reading depending on how you stand on it. simply stand on it the same way every time. i would recommend.

I was looking for a good weigh scale. My old scale was inconsistent and became inaccurate. However, Etekcity Scale is accurate and consistently reads out same numbers. With downloaded Mobile app keeps my information to show my weight loss. It does more than reading out weight. It tells me body fat, subcutaneous fat, metabolic age, BMI, fat-free body weight, visceral fat, body water, skeletal muscle, BMR, muscle mass, bone mass, and protein measurements. This is what sports physical therapists use on athletes. I love it. Two things why I gave four stars: it is fragile and small. I have to get on/off carefully from toppling to the side since the scale is smaller than ordinary weight scale. Additionally, all four round metal panels must be touched barefoot to record the measurements in mobile app. However, for the price I paid, I can't complain. I love it.

Make weight less stressfull
Having my weight broken down into things like muscles mass, and the two fats, made my number much easier to understand and not feel bad about. Which allowed me to healthier mindset about losing weight. Because I could see when I gained muscle and well as losing fat. :D

Perfect
Never what I have imagined that for the price of this unit that it would be as useful, well made, and easy to use as it is. It looks nice in the bathroom. It works better than our old more expensive one. It integrates easily with Samsung health. It auto differentiates between myself and my wife when it comes to tracking. You can track multiple people on multiple phones.

Pretty great!
Never thought I'd be reviewing a scale, but here we are. This has been really good so far. Been using it for over a month. It syncs to some health tracking apps and has one of it's own to help monitor your goals etc. It's pretty slick and seems to be quite accurate. You need to have the app open when you weigh, but otherwise super simple. The scale itself is a touch small, so if you have like giant feet or something - you may want to double check the measurements and make sure it's going to hold your staure. Otherwise I recommend!

Seems to be accurate - easy to connect to the app and love the information within the app. Helps to know my BMI, skeletal muscle mass etc.. very interesting. You can even add other people into it and compare against yours!

Consistency, excellent scale, recommended
Etekcity FIT 8S is a very good scale at a low price. The readings are the same in consecutive weight tests, with and without zero calibration. The resolution is 0.1lb. The display is bright. The 4 metallic circles are for measurements other than weight. The app is not required for weight; the apps is required for all other measurements which are performed quickly, no idea on the accuracy. The footprint is small, may not be suitable for the super-sized. The scale feet are slippery on ceramic tile, be caution when step on/off. BT signal is enabled only when stepped on. Wish it has other colors because black is always dirty.

Good product, no complaints
Overall this scale works well, no complaints. - The app has a good feature to track the change in weight from day to day and trendline. The app was not too difficult to install and setup (but have to open it and click into right screen for it to record your weight). -Has been working for a few months with no issues.
