Ok cover
Wish it was a little bit more study. It kinda like a tarp with a string. He has some wind and it took it off the pool even though we had it on their tight

Works just fine with my Bestway pool
For my Bestway 12' diameter pool, this item does exactly what I expected. Once the pool was up and properly filled, I was able to tie the cord so it was fairly tight around the underside of the blow-up top. The quality is decent, and I expect it will last at least as long as the pool itself. I did put a pair of cord locks eventually on the two cord ends, which helped a lot with securing the cover around the pool. If I had one suggestion, it would be for the manufacturer to add these to the cords. Update: Unfortunately, the quality of this item was not as I originally thought it to be. The cover ended up disintegrating and ripping when we went to take the cover off the pool the other day. I thought it would last longer than it did, at least the one summer! We were quite gentle with it, and did not use an excessive amount of chemicals, nor overstress it with too much water when taking it off. I'm going to remove a star as a result. However, for the price, it is still an OK value. I'll just make sure I order two next year, to be ready if/when the first gives out.

Easy to put on
It can blow off with a good wind

Only causes frustration
On the box there is a picture of a woman smiling as she puts this pool cover on single handedly. Ha! It took two adults several frustrating minutes to get it lined up right and tie it down in two separate spots. It’s one flat circle until you tighten the ties, and THEN it goes under the inflated pool ring. We tied it nice and tight, wasn’t budging when we tugged on it; everything seemed fine. The next morning it had come off. It was not a windy night, so I’m assuming the ties slipped over those hours. Only giving it two stars because it DOES fit the pool size it says it does, and I’m assuming that someone, like a Boy Scout, who is well versed in knot tying, could likely get it to stay in place.

Will NOT stay on! ONLY LASTED 5 WEEKS!!
This is my first experience with a temporary pool. IF you buy one of these I highly suggest you blow up the ring and let it sit for 2-3 days to be sure the top ring does not leak out the air. The pool will not work without the inflatable ring AND it seems this is a common failure. Call the help line immediately! The Pool Covers are very cheaply made but if you can keep it on it works well BUT it DISINTEGRATED IN 5 WEEKS! get it out of your pool when it starts to come apart or you will have a big mess! I ordered this cover to help keep my pool clean. It cannot be installed with one person (if you have figured out how to please let me know!) It is very light weight and has two drawn strings on opposite sides of the pool. When you pull on them they are to snug under the inflated top of the pool. I have tried this several times and as you can see in the pictures I have been able to get it to stay on. This would be much better if it had elastic in it and you could stretch it on like a fitted sheet. Its a great idea but very hard to keep on and put on. I ended up keeping it on my setting patio chairs at both sides of the pull ties and tying them to the bottom of the chair in a downward manner this helped until it came all apart.

Very light weight
This is paper thin so there is no way to keep it on with out putting weights around the edges. (But for the price that's what you get) I added a few water bottles so as long as it's not real Gusty it's been fine. It also has the perforated holes in the middle so the water doesn't pool.

FANTASTIC BUY! No problems so far.
I was hesitant to make this purchase based on previous reviews. However, I am very glad I went for it. First off, I have an Intex pool, this cover fits snugly, has not blown off, and basically serves it's intended purpose. You simply place it over the pool adjust the strings to create a gathering type effect. I pulled one side semi-tight and then tied the strings in an adjustable type knot and then did the same on the other side. It is really just that simple. Now if you just throw the cover on top without making the required adjustments then you can expect it to completely fail. Easy enough for this mama. Cheap enough to throw away or replace at the end of summer if need be. The material is tarp like and while I don't anticipate having this for years to come, I am pretty sure it will hold up through a non-hurricane Florida summer.

Gets the job done
It’s basically a tarp with a string to cinch closed. It’s less infuriating than trying to keep a regular tarp tied down over your pool. It fit our 10’ pool easily. It’s not super thick, but keeps the debris out of the pool.

It does the job perfectly
Despite the few negative reviews for this I opted to get it..yes it's a tarpaulin sheet but it's shaped and has drawstrings..so no issues there. I got the 10ft cover for my 8ft pool so it would fit ok as you can see from my pics there's plenty of overhang..I did initially get an 8ft cover that didn't fit at all so I was happy with the overhang you can see and using the draw string it gathers up fine. I am happy with it bearing in mind it is only to keep debris and leaves out the pool and not to enhance the pools look as such.. Definitely worth the money, if you're thinking about it please do get it..does what it says

Item isn't like the photo
I bought this due to the image in the photo, going by the photo is seemed exactly what i needed for my 10 foot bestway pool, i usually check reviews before buying but in this instance i didn't as i was in a rush to buy it and never thought to check first, i wish i did. Item isn't like the photo, the photo suggests a nice snug fitting cover that in a nice circle shape to fit the pool well, but this isn't the case, its a thin tarpaulin sheet which is in a partial circle shape, it has 2 draw strings that you are meanf to pull to make it fit the pool, but it just doesn't fit tight enough, and to be honest i think u would be just as well off buying tarpaulin from a shop and tying rope round the tarpaulin and pool, it would have just the same effect but be cheaper. I have given 3 stars as although the item is not as described and looks different to the picture, it does keep the rain out, but i dont think the sheet will stay put if it gers windy, i think the sheet will fly off.

Not great...
To be honest this wasn't much better than just using a normal tarpaulin, pulling the drawstring to tighten it just makes it come off from the opposite side unless you leave it loose which then means the cover just sits on the surface of the water, I did inflate a large beach ball and put that underneath the cover which kept it off the surface. Overall not a great cover but sort of does the job just not enough to justify the cost compared to a tarp at half the cost. If it had 4 points of tightening it would work better but it only has two so it's not very effective at all

OK, but not as illustrated
I bought this to cover our Bestway 8' pool, expecting it to be shaped to fit smoothly round the pool (as shown in the illustration on Amazon), perhaps held in place by an elastic rim. What arrived was a flat round piece of dark blue plasting sheeting with nine holes punched near the centre, a drawstring channel sewn round the outer rim and a cord (more like string than rope) threaded through it. To fit it, you need to lay the cover over the full pool and gather the sheeting in and tighten and knot the cord in two places opposite each other. You really need two people for this. There are crumpled folds in the cover all round the rim, as the cover is not shaped to fit. There are no instructions. You can take the cover off by bending the inflated rim of the pool, without undoing your knots in the cord, and put it back in much the same way. You will want to undo the knots at the end of the season in order to fold the cover compactly before putting it away. The cover has done its job satisfactorily for a few weeks, but it hasn't yet been tested yet by rough treatment or high winds.
