Conforme a RoHS e REACH.

APPLICAZIONI: aeronautica, assemblaggio elettronico e saldatura in ambienti ad alta temperatura. ESD SAFE: progettato per l'assemblaggio e la produzione elettronica in cui la carica statica è un problema. SPESSORE: 0,080 pollici +/- 10%; 5/64 pollici. MATERIALE: Realizzato in gomma a due strati sicura ESD: parte superiore in gomma grigia, strato inferiore in gomma nera. RESISTIVITÀ DI SUPERFICIE: Resistenza a terra: 8 x 10e6-8 ohm e resistenza da punto a punto: 2 x 10e6-8 ohm.

Seems like nice mat. Curls as the edges after some time.
Smooth surface should be easier to clean than other textured surface. Bottom rubber it grippy, so it doesn't slide around at on the desk. Update. It seems to be curling up at the edges. On the surfaces I've put it on, it's curled up about 1/8" to 1/4" on the edges. It appears the top grey layer is shrinking, pulling up the black lower layer. I've not seen this before in other mat brands we've used. Also, it absorbed dark marks from a microscope base with rubber feet are sitting on it. Where the feet are sitting, there's now a brown ring. Previous mats left small marks, but did not pickup dark stains. However this may be due to the quality (or lack of) of the rubber feet on the microscope base. Not sure I'd buy this again. When we order more, we'll probably go back to the other more expensive mat previously used in the shop.

Almost great. Doesn't melt but does discolor with high heat.
It is not the good stuff but okay. It measures like the good stuff (3M, etc) so the surface resistivity is as expected. The top nor the bottom is textured but it is heavy and sticky enough not to move. The only issue is that it discolors with high heat. If I hold the soldering iron it, it turns black. It doesn't really melt like the cheap vinyl ones but it does discolor. Still it is a nice low cost alternative. I use an old piece of the high end product to solder on and product this one.

Just what I needed
This is a lot of mat at a good price. It has works nicely sitting on my work bench (chunk one) and work cart (chunk two) and helps keep me from destroying circuits with static shocks. But, you know that if your reading this. That mat itself is fairly flexible and cutting into pieces isn't difficult. The material is dense, about 1/16" thick, and easily lies flat. The back side is black. If I were really serious, I'd get an anti-static wrist cuff too. As it is, I just make sure I touch the mat before anything else.

Nice but Discolored
The product is good overall but my roll was a bit discolored where it looks like the blue side was touching the black side while rolled. Also, the rubber bands holding the roll closed discolored the blue. The material lays flat which is what other "ESD" mats did not do. So I'm happy about that. We'll see how it holds up but for the cost it's a good deal.

Great mat, not marred by solder drips
Nice quality anti-static conductive mat. A 850 deg F soldering iron leaves a tiny mark, but a drop of molten solder does not. Cuts easily, and simple to fasten your own snaps to. One tip: if you need to join two sections of mat, just bridge the joint underneath with aluminum foil and duct tape in place for a hidden connection. My only minor complaint is that the ends of this roll were not cut square.

Nice and thick
This stuff is the real deal. Mine came in a big roll that you could beat a home invader to death with. I was also pleasantly surprised to find that despite being shipped in a tight roll, it really didn't have much "memory" when I laid it out. After a few minutes it was flatter than Kansas. Burn resistant? Check! Durable? Check! Nice and thick? Check! Inexpensive? Welllll... I'd say that you get what you pay for on this one.

Started nice - but yellows severely under UV
Two years in and I unfortunately have to knock this down to two, maybe even one star. The matt has held up physically however it has faded severely under fluorescent light (which all contains a UV component). I never noticed until I saw the one bench in particular that we use for more rough 'mechanical' assembly - this had a piece of lexan/plexi-glass install over a portion to protect the matt (ESD was obviously not a huge concern with this bench). It wasn't until I looked under this plexiglass that I noticed the huge difference - the plexiglass had blocked the UV and so it was like new beneath. After ~ two years under typical fluorescent lights (no sunlight), it's faded into a yellowish-green. This is not an issue of skin oils or other chemicals, and this is a climate controlled lab. I have never seen this with other brand mats. Original Review: Nice mat - lays flat right out of the roll, and no noxious smell. Does not include any snaps or hardware, FYI. cut easily with a drywall tee and new utility knife blade.

Great product, help needed re coffee spill though.
Brilliant, exactly what I wanted. Then I managed to spill coffee on it as I had to meet somebody, so could not clean the spill up until 12 hours later. Any idea how to remove coffee stains from this material? Haven't tried solvents yet though... I can however confirm that it handles molten solder with no problems - perfect.
