Really high class toilet seat.

I shopped locally and kept encountering either ridiculously cheap or unaffordably expensive toilet seats. But this Bemis seat had the right price, is very high quality and was simpler to install than the old one was to remove. Great product.

Sturdy and stays put.

This is the second one we've bought for our black toilet. The first one was great - and sturdy - never slid around. The only problem I have with it is that the black finish wore completely through, which was most likely my fault because I used cleaners on it that were too harsh for the finish. So - we bought a second one and will try harder not to wear through that finish. It felt wasteful to throw away the first one because structurally, it was solid -- but it looked bad with the finish worn away. If you get one, don't use any strong cleaning solutions on it and you'll be fine.

Looks Great but Longevity a Little Short

I have installed three of these seats all fit well and were an easy install. They look great and the chrome accents vs plastic are much nicer than other seats we have had over the years. The finish material on the seats is on the fragile side. Bathroom cleaners eventually take it's toll. That said they do last a couple of years and worth it as real chrome on metal beats the plastic counter parts on similar seats. the chrome parts stand up really well and very easy to keep clean.

Used toilet seat

I love it! Because it was "used," we got a super discount. Given the many times we've all sat on someone else's toilet seat, who cares if it's "used?"

Average seat -- not very adjustable

I bought this seat in hopes that it was adjustable for a toilet base with seat holes that are slightly uneven. The adjustable part of this seat is there are two (only) positions for the screws. Rather than a sliding slot which some other seats have. The end result for me is a seat that has a crooked alignment with the toilet. This is not a problem with the seat but with the toilet. But this seat will not solve the problem of misaligned toilet base holes.

Alesio II Toilet Seat

This is the third toilet seat I've purchased for my main bathroom and is the best one by far. The others were BEMIS as well, but purchased at Home Depot for a bit less money. Those wore out very quickly and the finish wore off from cleaning. I am a little more careful with this new one (no bleach!), but I think it's a better quality overall. Installation was a breeze and it's very easy to clean. The only "complaint" is it sits a bit lower on the bowl, so it took a bit to get used to. I think the lower profile makes it fit better on the bowl vs. the others that wobbled a bit. Definitely worthy of five stars for a toilet seat.
