A Great Beesuit
This bee suit does exactly what it's designed for. In fact I've now been using mine all Spring and Summer and I've not been stung once. In fact yesterday I jostled the bees a little much and a few came out pretty upset but no matter how many times they landed on me and tried to sting me, they just couldn't accomplish their task. The canvas is thick (be careful in extended direct sunlight). I very much like the elastic bands, one on each arm, which helps keep the arms extended while I put on my gloves. And a stirrup elastic on each leg, which helps keep the pant legs down while I put on my boots. The rest of my comfort is relative, it's a jumpsuit with an attached headpiece. The mesh seems durable, and is fine enough to see through and opperate effectively. The only complaint I have are with the zippers. I have a light touch, and they can be a bear. If you are prone to frustration with jainky zippers, please ask someone for help! However the design of the zipper and velcro to seal up the suit works great, I've had no bees infiltrate the suit. Enjoy working with your bees!!

Wasp Nest
We had wasps make a nest in the tiniest of cracks near our front door. We were going to hire a pest control company, but after doing some research I figured this was something I could do myself. Their numbers had gotten so bad I stopped taking my toddler outside to play. So I ordered this suit, some gloves, and a bottle of Tempo Dust. I considered purchasing a cheaper suit, but decided this was not the time to try and save a few dollars and went with this one. Besides, the suit, gloves, and powder combined were still cheaper than hiring someone to do it. The suit is true to size (follow the chart provided) and the material feels sturdy. I also put on sweat pants and a sweater under the suit, but honestly probably didn't need it (Im allergic to their stings and didn't want to take any chances). Following the advice given in other reviews, I also put on a baseball cap to keep the fabric away from my face. I DEFINITELY would have gotten stung without this suit. Two angry wasps tried their hardest to attack my face, but try as they might my face stayed safe and secure. I climbed the ladder and proceeded to insert the dust into the tiny hole they were using as an entrance. They came out confused and angry buzzing around the entrance trying to understand what disturbed their nest and I stayed perfectly safe. By that afternoon, we were once again playing in our front yard and not a single German Wasp disturbed us. I plan on adding more powder in a week to deal with any hatching eggs. This suit was worth the cost and I can also use it as a future Halloween costume.

I need a do over
First year bee keeper. If I had to do over I would get jacket hood combo with some gloves. Nothing wrong with this suit just not for me. Good quality

Great suit!
I’m 5’9 and weight 145 and I bought a medium and it fits perfect! Not snug but loose. I wear a ball cap when I am using the suit to ensure my head does not get stung, and it also prevents the bees from stinging your face. It’s made well and I feel it’s a great buy. I have friends who have more expensive suits and this suit is just as nice. I recommend

A Standard bee suit
This is a standard bee suit ment for honey bees nothing more but the net was to small and kept rubbing up against my face so I had to wear a hat so I wouldn't get stung in the face because bees go straight for your face because they can't stand the carbon dioxide. But I bought the wrong suit I have bumble bees and I felt it I couldn't walk for a few days for me this suit was useless but I decided to keep it because of the future id buy gloves also if your going to be getting close to bees and if your a big person like me I'd recommend to go bigger size to fit more comfortable

This is the suit your looking for if your looking for protection!
I was terrified of the africanized bees we have here in Az. But this suit made me a believer in it! I was visciously attacked by thousands of bees and they didnt get through anywhere! Im a firm believer! Good, sturdy, and I love it! It was a little hot but if you handle the bees at night then its fine. I wouldnt recommend wearing it in the daytime in the middle of summer but thats the price of a sting proof suit!

Thick enough to not get stung
Suit is thick enough where I have not got stung through it but it is every fit to the body due to the elastic on the waist but you can loosen up about 2 inches be in treading it and it it’s much more comfortable. I would like the actual manufacture to add some type of halo on the head part to keep the vale away from the face.

Very secure, and well made.
Very secure, and well made. Also very hot. The vail is a little hard to see through for me, but overall I'm happy with the purchase.

Wear a thick jumper under this suit
I like my new bee suit its great apart from the bees being able to sting through it even with a cotton teeshirt under. I got stung on the head through the white material and the front waist and also the wrist.

Took me a bit of time to like it!
This is my second beekeepers suit so it took a while to stop missing the first one which had to be retired. I like the fabric in this one. Someone mentioned in a review that it shrank when washed. It does get tighter, just like jeans do when you wash them, but again, like jeans, it relaxes again with wear so no problem. I wouldn’t advise drying it in a dryer — just air dry it. Someone else mentioned the hood was a pain. It is because the zippers go all the way back. I put a small safety pin on each side where I wanted the zippers to stop when I opened them but the opening is still large enough to slip over my head. And now putting it on is super easy. Someone else mentioned hating that the hood rested on his head. My old one did too. My solution, which men might not want to try, is to attach a hair clip, a sturdy one that’s at least an inch high to the top of my hair and that keeps the hood above my hair. The zippers on the ankle annoyed me because they rubbed against my legs when I walked in boots. I thought I would remove them but simply unzipping was enough to not feel them. So after adjusting these issues I now love wearing this suit! And I love that it has side pockets in addition to a breast pocket.

Fabric is almost canvas way too hot
The fabric the suit is made of is almost a canvas. As such it would be super hot. The weave is also very coarse so I can't see it adequately protecting from stings. The face veil is a coarse mesh which makes it harder to see as opposed to a noseeum style mesh but it also wont protect you from stings. The zipper on the veil split while i was checking out the suit. I purposely didn't buy the cheapest suit on amazon because I wanted a good suit. My last one lasted 15yrs. This is not a good suit. This suit would only be good for a very occasional bee keeper not someone who has many hives and works a lot in the heat. Luckily it was easy to return.

No structure in the headpiece
If you buy this go for one of the different headpieces than the u shaped one. There is simply no structure so it sits with mesh ok the scalp and face for me. Also the sizing is a bit suspect. I'm 6'1 and ordered the size up from recommended but find the length short in the torso to the point I can't fully bend over and too long in the legs.

Molto buona
