Sizing is tricky, but worth the effort. If you ain't well over 6', get a short.
First off - sizing. Male, 5' 11", roughly 205, stocky build. I purchased the XXL Reg. Sent it back; too long (~32" inseam). XXL Short is much better; Inseam is ~30". Seller claims 90% of returns are because the garment is too long. Perhaps they should make sizing data more accessible. I purchased the XXL to fit sweatshirts etc under the bib. There is enough room to fit a heavyweight hoodie, without feeling bound up, even with a OWB holster. Next is features and quality - Pros: - Double ended zipper on the side of the leg, access interior clothing pockets by unzipping a bit from the top. Full-length zipper, plumb up to the hip. Very nice, brass, looks heavy. - Chest pockets are actually usable, the zippers are fit on the inner seam; facing each other. The left pocket is easily accessed with the right hand, etc. Excellent feature. - Insulation is enough, but not too much. Not bulky/arctic stuff. I expect to be working, or at least actively moving when using this work wear, so the level is insulation is adequate. - Front pockets are reinforced at the seam, so clipping a measuring tape or knife there will not destroy the pocket in short order. - Leg bottoms at the back (heel) side are also reinforced to prevent premature wear. - Knees are doubled fabric. Cons: -The only con I can think of is personal preference. I prefer no insulation at the chest; on the 'bib' part itself, as it can lead to me feeling overheated during heavy exertion. This is insulated. Not a deal breaker, as I can unzip the bib if needed. That cost the 5th star. Picky? sure. However, this is my review, and there ain't no perfect anything. I believe these Dickies are very much worth the money. Time will tell if they are as durable as other brands, but after inspecting them I can see no reason to think otherwise. Previously I used Carhartt outerwear. Due to the price, and the recent political activity of that brand, I am no longer spending my money with them. I am happy with the Dickies; I now own these bibs and also an insulated vest.

Best Dickies around
My husband knows these for work and they are perfect. They're just as good if not better than Carhartt. The material is dependable and sustainable. He's very happy that I purchased them for half the cost that you would get from Carhartt. Like I said they are just as good if not better.

Warm and durable
I bought these for my son who works outside in inclimate weather. He absolutely was so happy to get them. So far they have made it through their first winter ❄️ I'm hoping they will make it through a few more.

Very warm and comfortable
Really impressed with these bibs. Much better than my insulated Carhartts. Warmer and more comfortable. Wore during -8F and stayed toasty. I'm sold on Dickies now way more affordable than Carhartt.

Insulated & warm
I like Dickies brand so I was anxious to check these out. They’re insulated with quilting. I expected, for some reason, like them to be similar to the inside of winter gloves. It definitely has kept me warm. Just a warning though, as I have a small frame…. I did experience some discomfort in my lower back the following day, due to the unexpected weight addition & bulkiness of the coveralls/overalls. They are challenging at first to maneuver bending & squatting due to the bulkiness, as well. I adjusted quickly & was so happy to have them as we’ve experienced a lot of cold weather this month. Two zipper pockets on the bib are very handy. I also liked the side zippers for easy removal. Extra note-i washed in cold & dried on the low heat setting & experienced zero shrinkage.

My Favorite Cold Weather Bib/Overall!
12-2-17 I'm reviewing the Dickies Insulated Bib or Overall in Black, in case the seller has multiple listings. I can already tell you that these overalls are GREAT! I purchased this exact model 4 years ago from another location and they've held up well with minimal damage. I'm a woman that works out in the elements doing a variety of jobs. I'm primarily a mobile mechanic that works on site ranging from automotive, landscaping equipment, construction rigs, and snow removal equipment. Being warm and mostly dry or comfortable is important to me, for most of the jobs doing repair work doesn't include much moving around, so I don't or can't generate lots of heat. For example, working on a vehicle... mostly bent under the hood or kneeling at a wheel hub. The other time I wear these is when I help out for snow removal, I shovel or snowblow while my partner is plowing in the truck. In this scenario, I don't need too much upper outerwear but the lower or my core is essential. I'll wear a couple thermal shirts with a hoodie over and then pair it with the Bib. This keeps me dry but also breathable and able to work with my arms like a vest, less bulk. I'm located in the SE PA region of the USA, so I'll pull these out for use by Nov or so, especially for early morning or dusk and after hours. Then worn more often until late spring? (it varies) So this is the background, what temps, and the reason for purchase. As far as the first pair I bought, I still use them but am passing them off to my daughter as she is now working on equipment or just generally with me. The only noticable damage is a slight tear at the right knee where it is double layered anyway, so it's not penetrating through the actual pant. I'll be sewing a patch so the integrity of the pant stays intact. I do much more work than my daughter, so giving her the old ones seemed more logical. All the zippers work, which is GREAT! One of the best features, in my opinion are the side pant zippers that come from the ankle up to the hip on both sides, so no matter the footwear, you take these off without needing to remove the boots, etc. So important to me because in the dead of winter I wear high lace up work boots, so it's a hassle to take them off and on. When going indoors to have a meal, or a break between snowfalls, you can easily get overheated, so this is where those side zippers are super convenient. I like that most of the pockets have zippers too, so that your wallet or phone stay dry and put when working. As I stated, I'm a female about 5'4" and between 110 & 120 lbs evenly proportioned. I found that the men's Small & Regular fit the best and the 1st time around, I actually had to stitch the shoulder straps just a bit shorter, as the tightest setting was still a little loose even with layers. I either wear this with a hoodie and several shirts underneath with the bib over everything OR I'll wear several shirts, then the bib over with a winter work coat over that.... for more severe cold or idle in movement type conditions in the elements. I should add that I also have the Arctic Bibs made by Carhart. I prefer the Dickies because even from the waist up, it is insulated. So the whole chest & back have an extra layer almost like a vest. The Cartharts do not, but the Cartharts are made in the USA, while the Dickies are made in China. Just thought I'd put that out there. I bought this from the seller "Amazon LLC", which I feel is important to list this info. I've come across sellers with variances in their items, including knockoffs, even if listed as same brand. I'll post an update with a durability review. ***UPDATE*** 1-26-18 I was finally able to take & post photos of my daughter wearing my 4 year bib, while doing some tree work today. You can see the minimal wear at the knees, which I'd like to patch up before getting worse, but I'm a little glad I didn't yet so that I can truly demonstrate how well this wore so far. I can only hope my new ones wear this well and last as long.

Shallow pockets, good fit
They seem great out of the box. Only complaint is the pockets are shallow which is annoying. Fit was as expected, I’m 5’10” 175lbs and they fit perfect.

Stitching needs work sadly
Great for cold weather. The stitching came apart after ten uses. Fortunately I know how to sew
