Life saver

I live in an apartment that is wall to wall carpet so our dinner table is on carpet. This is such a life saver and makes it so I don’t have to worry about staining the carpet. It’s so easy to wipe clean and pick up to shake out crumbs. I love the pattern and it’s very durable. We’ve used it daily for 3 months now and it is in perfect condition.

Bigger than I thought

wish it was adhesive or something to that affect. It just slides easily on my hardwood floor but it gets the job done. LO has a bar seat so I fold it in quarters to fit under her. When she is in her high chair I appreciate the larger size

Game changer

Changed the way we do dinner. Our LO is in the "throwing" stage of meals. Clean up takes less than a minute!! I shake the food into the trash and toss the mat in the washer machine. Knowing I'm not gonna spend 25 mins cleaning up makes meals so much less stressful.

Great price Does the job!

My son will be starting solids soon so i figured I should get prepared! This is actually a great size for under the chair in case anything gets thrown. The material is perfect for easy wipe off and it’s cute! I also read you can use it for activities like painting and playing with sand etc which makes it usable for more than just one thing. definitely purchase again!

A must have with BLW — Un must!

My 15 months old throws the food on the floor since the beginning of BLW, so I thought buying a mat to save some cleaning time on the floors should be great. Very well made, waterproof, non-stainable, easy to clean in washing machine and air dries rapidly. Highly recommend ???? — Avoir un bébé qui jette encore sa nourriture par terre à 15 mois nécessite ce tapis lol Je l’ai adoré dès les débuts des repas de bébé avec la DME. Il est très imperméable. Il est super facile à nettoyer, je passe un linge à chaque usage et hop dans la laveuse de temps à autre! De plus il sèche en un temps record à l’air libre. Je recommande!

Easy to clean. Dries quick.

I got this as a present but was told that the splat mat dries quickly after it's washed. Does what it's intended to do, catching a fair amount of the messes the baby makes (nobody really expects this to catch EVERYTHING right?). My friend's baby rarely sends things flying backwards, so the mat is strategically placed as a diamond shape to maximize coverage on the 2 sides and the front.

Not waterproof

I do like how easy this floor mat is to clean (in the washing machine and dryer) however mine is definitely not waterproof. It is slightly easier to clean up more solid messes, tossed food, etc., but I do still have to do a fair amount of floor wiping under where the mat was. This is the main thing I was trying to avoid since as a parent, cleaning up between meals can take a lot of time and elbow grease. It's fine for the price I guess, but should not have "waterproof" in the name. Disappointing because we love our Bumkins smocks.

tengan cuidado Mexico DF, este proveedor se retrasa hasta por 20 dias y después dice que ya entrego el paquete y es mentira, cuando haces el reclamo de devolución no quiere aceptarla. quizá algunos si les llegue pero conmigo somos 3 personas que sucede lo mismo

Worth buying

This mat is exactly what we’ve been looking for. Our flooring is hard to clean and we tried a few different products before finding this one. Our daughter started solid foods a few months ago and a fair amount usually ends up on the floor. We tried wipeable tablecloths and towels of different sizes and thicknesses and nothing really worked for us. We really like the Splat Mat for a few reasons: the food doesn’t stick to it, it’s lightweight, it’s the perfect size for under the highchair and it’s machine washable (although it rarely needs it, as it doesn’t absorb much). Definitely a worthwhile purchase.
