Sitting on the Throne

I have had a difficult time trying to find the "right" seat for my Vortens toilet, even after contacting Vortens directly. I ordered a dud before, which somehow broke (even though my son says that he didn't do it). Anyway, this seat was great because you can adjust where the seat sits from front to back. Before, my prior seat didn't properly cover the bowl and exposed a little bit in the front. With the ability to make the front to back adjustments, this seat completely covers the bowl (front to back and side to side).

Damage missing cover.

I put this seat in the trash , I don't think anyone could use it.

Works well; slow closes properly; comfortable

The color was a decent match for my "bone" appliances. I've found nothing is an *exact* match for bone appliances as the color lots seem to vary slightly for both the toilets and the seats, but this one is very close and looks good. The big box stores didn't carry slow-close elongated seats in this color; only in white. This one works well and is actually more comfortable than I expected.

WILL NOT buy again.

Not a good product. Mainly because of the mounting system. It's looks appealing, the bone color is attractive. It is comfortable to sit on. However, if you shift your body while sitting, the seat will move. It does not take much movement to "click" this mounting system into another position. You can leave it where it re-positions, but it's going to move again and again. No, I will NEVER buy again. I have already ordered it's replacement, with a better mounting system.

I love that I no longer hear the slamming down of the toilet seat. It's slow and quiet and comfortable too
