They’re ok, but..
At first glance these seem like perfectly fine poles. The length adjustments can be a little tricky and some may be loose, but they can be tightened. I only got two uses out of them snowshoeing. The second time out while in the middle of the woods in the dark, I managed to lose the snow basket on one of the poles. Just came off. Not sure where, and we spent a good amount of time digging through the holes I left in the snow looking for it. That one didn’t feel like it screwed on tightly despite constantly turning it, which is probably why it fell off. I think the screw bases on the poles can be defective. Guess I have to try and find a replacement part and glue it on this time.

Outstanding quality with one odd design feature
I got these for taking when trekking up the hills, and they are really well made and perform perfectly. They are crazy light, and extend to 53 inches which is a length that should suit most people, and for me at 5’7” they work really well. There is nothing at all in either the design, materials or the construction of these poles that isn’t fantastic, which from my perspective is very refreshing to find in any product. Right now there is no snow near us, and I don’t think I will be near any in the near future, but my wife does love to ski, and it would be a lot of fun to bring these next time we go, and with the included baskets, these will be a welcome companion to give me that little assist. PROS Smashing design, love the look of them Love all the materials used - super high quality Awesome grip Solid adjustable fast locking clips Straps have lots of grip so you are unlikely to lose the pole accidentally if you let go for any reason These fit perfectly in the side mounts on my new Gonex backpack Baskets screw on to the pole so they won’t come off and get lost CONS: I find it really odd, and maybe there is a good reason for it, but when you loosen the clips to extend the legs, if you keep going, it will come right out as there is nothing in place to stop it. I am a photographer and I have various telescoping pieces of equipment from light stands, tripods and monopods, and everything I have ever used with this type of extension capability has a way to stop the inner leg coming out. It’s not the end of the world, but I don’t feel comfortable when I think about one of the clips getting caught on something trekking in the hills and then losing one of the extension pieces. It would be great to have a way to attach the baskets or the end cover to the poles so they are always there where you need them. May not be an issue for everyone, but I’m fairly likely to lose them over time. SUMMARY: If you are in the market for some really light, and super strong poles, I suggest you give these a try. I don’t remember the brand of the last poles I borrowed, but I don’t remember them being as light, or looking as cool as these.

Decent poles
This is a pair of telescoping walking poles with snow tips. Folded, the poles are 25” long and the pair weighs 15.5 oz. The poles have soft rubber grips with adjustable wrist straps with a soft insulating padding. The poles telescope open in 3 sections; the middle section has heights in inches and cm printed for easy adjustment. The clips are plastic and snap open and shut; the clip tension is adjustable with a finger screw. The poles come with 2 sets of snow baskets, 1 for powder and 1 for more packed snow, plus plastic covers for the metal tips. I find these poles quite useful for aiding winter traction when walking. They are easily adjustable and the grips are comfortable. The included 2 types of snow baskets are a plus as well. But what I didn’t like was the way the poles come apart completely—there are no stops, so if you pull on them quickly to expand them, they come apart in separate pieces. My husband uses Leki Super Makalu poles, which I borrow whenever I can. So I’m used to the spring loaded action on those poles. I really feel the difference when I switch to these Yukon poles. The Yukon poles work acceptably well for walking and snowshoeing, but they just don’t feel as good in my hand as the Lekis. On the other hand, they are a fraction of the price, so that’s to be expected. Overall, these poles do a decent job and are easy to travel with, but there is a noticeable difference in how they feel compared to higher-end poles.

good poles, though telescoping can be a slight hassle and accessories may get lost
I really like that these poles are lightweight, telescope, have nice grips plus wrist straps so you don't have to worry about holding onto them as tightly. My complaints are that the telescoping can be slightly annoying to adjust (my camera tripod has a much faster/smoother mechanism), and that if you're using it on dirt instead of snow it does have that plastic cap at the bottom to cover the metal spike, but the cap will fall off or wear out quickly (and otherwise just flops around while you're hiking). The snow and trekking baskets are small plastic circles (about as wide as a small adult's fist) that will probably do the job well BUT also seem like they'll get lost permanently the moment you stash them anywhere. (That's definitely a "user error," but be aware that you'll have to be at least somewhat together in order to prevent it.) Four stars because they're a decent option for hiking (and putting in luggage), but I don't love-love them.
