Bring back the old Funtainer!!!
I had two "Funtainer" Thermos containers for my son's and my lunches. He lost his so I replaced it with this item, because Thermos has discontinued the Funtainer. They are the same size INSIDE (10 oz) but this new Insulated Food Jar is physically larger on the OUTSIDE. This includes a larger diameter lid. Not good!! I have small hands and find this new container is really hard for me to open, even though it has thoughtful dimples to provide better grip. It is simply too big. And if it is too big for me, an adult, how are grade-school kids with even smaller hands going to manage it? The old container was also shorter, so it took up less space in a lunch bag. I understand corporations believe in changing things up to encourage customers to buy the new thing, but PLEASE can we go back to the old Funtainer dimensions? It was a perfect product!!

GREAT!
This little thermos is a great multipurpose product. I've had a lot of poor products in the past that wouldn't keep things hot longer than 45 mins! This one is STILL very hot up to 6 hours and warm for 8 hours. Haven't tried the cold use yet, but suspect it will be extremely good. I am very happy with this and plan on getting a second for myself and a couple for gifts.

These are fantastic!
These keep hot foods hot and cold foods cold. They are easy to open for children and the perfect size to hold foods for their lunch boxes. They are very easy to clean. These are worth every penny!

Inexpensive quality product
Everything fits together nicely and it does a good job of insulating.I use it exclusively to hold warm water for eyelid soaks. I,ll buy another one for food now that I've seen this one.

Love these things. So handy.
Intermittent fasting and need a meal during a certain, miniscule window of time? Get a couple of these and they work good. Restaurants expense got you down? Get a couple of these and bring your own meal along. Pedaling along on your mountain bike out in the woods and feeling hungry? These hold a decent capacity of food to fuel your body while keeping you not overly full. I had one. Purchased a second. For the reasons listed above and more. Preheat the unit with hot water, add hot food, close up and toss into your rucksack. Works good for cold stuff, too.

Good after years of use and time in dishwasher
This has been great for my kids to take leftovers to school for lunch. I've definitely gotten my money's worth with this purchase. I seldom take the time to write reviews but kept seeing this little workhorse as I make lunches and had to share my experience. Several years ago I bought four different 10 oz thermos food containers to put things in my kids' lunch. They are all still going strong but this one is my favorite. With the wide opening, some of the others are hard to screw in just right especially for smaller hands, but this one is easier to close and open and others are showing some signs of wear but this one isn't. I have put it in the dishwasher over and over with no problems. The plastic gasket can be removed for cleaning but I've seldom done this and it's never gotten moldy or gross even though we've had some things left in backpacks for the weekend on occasion (ugh!) While the thermos doesn't keep things piping hot as some others have noted, my kids (now teenagers) have never complained. They could take things to microwave now but they still prefer to bring the thermos.

Disappointing
Order twice the 10 OZ THermos; and the food was room temperature. tried even with boiling water to see and by 11:00 it was already room temperature; more cold than hot.
