Small Bottle, Extends Color

I have been using the Moroccanoil Color Care Conditioner for a couple weeks, and for the most part, it lived up to my expectations. As someone who regularly uses Moroccanoil products, I was curious to see how this one worked. First off, the scent did not disappoint. It's lovely, as I've come to expect from Moroccanoil, however, I did find it to be a bit too faint for my liking. I've seen other reviews where people have said it's too strong, so it's all down to personal preference. The bottle is very small for the price. In terms of performance, the conditioner does a good job of keeping my bright pink hair looking vibrant for longer. However, I did find that it wasn't as moisturizing as I would have liked. I have fine thin color-treated hair, and while the product didn't weigh my hair down or leave it feeling greasy, I didn't feel like it added much moisture either. Overall, the Moroccan Oil Color Care conditioner works well and does what it claims to do. If you're looking for something to help extend the life of your color while also moisturizing your hair, this may not be the best fit for you if you have dry hair. However, for those with fine hair who want to keep their color looking bright, this is a good option.

Softly Scented for Soft Hair

This is a great little bottle of conditioner (Emphasis on "little") - I have really enjoyed using it. I love the scent - it is very light and inoffensive. I find that it does fade a bit quickly, but as a person who is sensitive to strong smells, it works great for me. I find that I do need to use a bit more conditioner than I typically would with this in order to get a smooth, even coat over the mids-to-ends of my hair. In addition, it isn't the MOST moisturizing conditioner I have used. I have fairly damaged hair from coloring it often, and this conditioner left my hair just a bit more rough feeling than some of my previous conditioners. With that said, I found that my color did last a long time and I am pleased with that. It's a trade off - soft and silky, or extended color. I don't think you can go entirely wrong with this, it still is moisturizing and if you have less damaged hair I think it would be a great choice. And the smell really is good.

Moroccanoil Color Care Conditioner, 33.8 FL OZ This very large (33.8 fl oz / 1 liter), white plastic bottle of color care conditioner arrived wrapped in plastic for safety. Know that once the pump is freed the bottle is quite tall: just under 12 inches / 1 foot. It fits on the top rung of our shower caddy, and I’m on the tall side so it works for me, but this may be an issue for some. The ingredients are, overall, great (the argan oil is the star), but this conditioner does contain parfum/fragrance, isopropyl alcohol, and silicone (both water-soluble and non-soluble) for those that wish to avoid those ingredients. I’ll be watching for build-up and will alternate this conditioner with a silicone-free one going forward. I’ve been using this “ultra-moisturizing” conditioner, meant for color treated hair, for almost two weeks. My oily, fine (but I have a lot of it) chin-length hair can get weighed down by conditioner, so I’m picky about the conditioner I use. This beautifully scented conditioner (this will be subjective, but I really like it – “spicy amber and musk with sweet florals”) is thick and rich. After washing, I wring my hair out and then apply a very small amount (!) to the ends of my hair, not my scalp. I wait about a minute and then rinse it out. My straight hair has looked smooth and shiny while using this on a daily basis. I blow dry my hair (and started using a hot air brush during these two weeks) and all is well (silicone can protect hair from heat damage). I also color my hair about every six weeks to boost the color, cover a few grays, and add dimension. I always use color safe shampoos and conditioners and I haven’t noticed any difference while using this conditioner. Cruelty-free (PETA symbol on the bottle). Free of sulfates, phosphates, and parabens. Good for 12 months after opening. Made in Israel.

It's okay

I love the treatments from this line, especially the oil. However, this conditioner is just okay to me. My hair is pretty dry and needs a lot of moisture, and this doesn't quite do it. I have a lot of hair (it's fine but thick and fairly long), so it takes a lot of product to coat it, and this isn't a big bottle. I am probably going to get 10 washes out of this (maybe), which doesn't make it a great value for me. I like a lot of slip from my conditioners, but this doesn't give me that, so I still have to deal with snags and tangles after I rinse it out. I like the scent, and it's probably good for someone with "normal" hair, but it's not great for me. However, I noticed my caramel lowlights have lasted longer without fading, so I do think it's a good color protectant when used with the shampoo.

Wow, this is a huge 33.8 oz bottle! I like that how this comes in a pump dispenser, which makes it so easy to use the product. I’m familiar with this line and have used the hair oil. After trying both, I prefer this conditioner. It’s a quick wash and go! Less messy to apply in the shower and I just need to leave it in for a few mins and then rinse. I would say this does weigh down my hair a bit so I don’t use it everyday. I find by Day 2 with just shampooing and no conditioner, this will give me the most volume. It really does leave my hair looking healthy and shiny! The only gripe I have is the scent of this product. It’s so strong, lingers, and smells like my husband’s deodorant! Yep, that’s what it reminds me of so please change the scent or make it less noticeable.

Awesome conditioner!

As someone who has dry, damaged and colored hair I am always seeking a nice moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. I received this along with the matching shampoo and have been using them for the past week. This is a nice big bottle, comes with a pump but I would have preferred just to squeeze it out instead. I dislike pumps like this one. just personal preference. This conditioner smells nice and leaves my dry hair feeling moisturized. It does have a couple of ingredients that some may not want to put in their hair, but for the price it is a good contender and affordable.
