Sized so small!

I love the cut and the design. This covers my whole butt, and I love high waisted cuts. My only gripe is the sizing. I know what size I am now since I've bought these 3 times. I am 5'8 and am about 145lbs. I last bought an XL, but I can tell from the wear on the seams I might need to size up again. These are sized so small, and it's hard to know what size you actually need.

Classic shape and fabric, quality issues

I love these because of the shape, the gentle control, and because they are made primarily of cotton. My only complaint is that the waist threads always pop and fray. I have owned 6 pairs at this point and it happens to every single one within the first 5 wears. I mend them because I can’t find anything better and to toss them would be wasteful…. but would love to see Bali use a different (stronger) thread in the waistline! Apart from that, thank you for continuing to make a cotton control panty as I don’t see anything else like it on the market.

Odd proportions

These are a nice light control brief. Unfortunately, they are a bit too long in the front of the leg opening, and a bit too short in the back of the leg opening. The extra fabric and the elastic in the front of the leg opening can pinch a bit. I don't care to wear these that much because of that problem.

Like everything except the leg holes

I really liked these briefs except the leg holes are really small and not all that comfortable. I don't have large legs as I am 5'4" weighing 129 lbs.

Comfortable Cotton Shapewear

It's so hard to find comfortable, cotton shapewear. I've bought these before at Macy's and was glad to see Amazon offered them. However, I agree with other reviewers that they do smell like gasoline/industrial chemicals for some bizarre reason.... Even after a few washes. Hopefully this smell will dissipate after another wash?? Otherwise, they're great and offer just the right amount of shaping and support without being constricting or uncomfortable.

I love these. I'd wear them every day. The shaping is pretty minimal but they smooth you out a little. It's hard to find breathable, cotton shaping undies and I'm happy with these.
