Excellent Bumper Plates for Any Workout
I recently purchased the Everyday Essentials 35lb bumper plate for my home gym, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. These plates are incredibly durable and have held up well during my intense workouts. They fit perfectly on my barbell and have a nice snug fit, which helps to prevent any unwanted movement during lifts. What I really appreciate about these bumper plates is their versatility. They're great for Olympic lifts like snatches and clean and jerks, but they're also perfect for powerlifting exercises like deadlifts and squats. The rubber material is high quality and doesn't have that strong rubber odor that some other bumper plates have. Overall, I highly recommend the Everyday Essentials bumper plates to anyone looking to upgrade their home gym. They're an excellent value for the price and will last for years to come.

Weights are accurate
I bought these as a set package of 260# - 2 plates each 10,15, 25, 35, and 45# plates. All plates are within .6 pounds over the marked weight. (None are under the marked weight.) At the time of my purchase, these were the cheapest price per pound plates I was able to find, and considering these were bumper plates (as opposed to iron, which is normally the cheaper option,) I am quite happy with my purchase, as I'm sure my basement floor will be. The colors look like a pack of fruit stripe gum exploded to make the set. I would have preferred plain black, but beggars can't be choosers. If you have the cash and are concerned about aesthetics, these are not the plates for you. If you're trying to build a home gym without breaking the bank (next to impossible these days,) and don't care as long as it's weight, these fit the bill. I did initially notice the harsh smell others have listed in their review, however it dissipated quickly. It was not strong to begin with unless you're putting your face right up against the plates, which, why are you doing that? I did also notice at first a bit of grease on the edges and the center, but that is give now that I've used them a few times. Packaging was a little rough when it arrived, but most of the plates were packaged as a set, and obviously heavy. Some were double boxed. Nothing was damaged in shipping, regardless. I will be copying this message for the other plates in the set, as it does not list it the way I purchased it for review.

Great for the price.
They feel solid enough though obviously not as nice as Rogue, etc. Oddly, I have two sets of these 10 lbers ordered a couple weeks apart and one is significantly thinner than the other. I haven't weighed them to see if there's a difference but it's easily noticeable.

While planning my home gym I read a lot of advice that suggested only buying premium weight plates. I think this is terrible advice, for a home gym you do not need commercial quality plates from Rogue or similar brands. These BalanceFrom Everyday Essentials plates are suitable for a home gym and are priced very competitively. The rubber, logo and finish is good quality, metal rings are tight and all the plates are uniform. I was initially worried about rubber/oil odors, but after washing them with Murphys Oil Soap and letting them air out in the sun for a few days, they are odorless in my garage gym. I think these weight plates are an excellent value, they will make you as strong as any other plates on the market.

Inconsistent Quality
I ordered a pair of the 15lbs. They arrived a day late but they were in good shape. A short time later I bought another pair of 15lbs. They arrived on time but one of them had a horrible edge. It was as if they were used and someone had chewed up a good amount of the rubber.

I spent $180 in total for something bend with my fingers. A total crap.
The media could not be loaded. They should never sell a product like this. They bend with my fingers both sides at the same time, and bend on barbells, therefore, cannot set up for a proper lift. I bought these for Olympic lifting and I need these to be certain height not one side higher and the other bent, or both bent. I would not recommend this product at all and will never buy products from this company again.
