Sir Topham Hatt is a Hit

This thing rocks and my son loves Sir Topham Hatt. I didn't even know who this guy was, but I guess he's a big deal on the Island of Sodor. My apologies to the leader of the pack! My only concern is that my son figured out how to take off Sir Topham Hatt's head and could have swallowed it. I ended up super gluing it on and life is all better now!

ummm....watch the head

So, this is plastic and the body has seams that run down either side. When dropped just right, say by an over-eager 4-year-old onto a tile floor, it'll jar those seams and there's a chance the head might pop off and roll across the floor. However, you can pry the body back apart and slip the head back on (there's a little plastic neck in there that holds the head into the body). It's tricky but can be done.

I have ordered many 'Thomas' products from Amazon and have been pleased every time. This transaction was no different. I will say that I had expected the base was part of the Thopem Hatt mold, but it is actually just glued to the bottom. Somehow, the base came detached and I had to cut off the glue and leftover plastic. He still looks great, but its tough to get him to stand now.

Overpriced.

Like all other Thomas brand toys, Sir Topham is overpriced. Really, when you stop to think that you're spending $10 American dollars for a plastic figurine (before shipping for those who aren't Prime members), then you realize that your child not only disfigured your body, but also permanently branded "sucker" across your forehead. Add insult to injury when the figure breaks from his stand within the first day of play. It would seem that the toy deserves a less-than 3 star rating; however, Topham, himself, is still intact. I guess he mostly held up to his end of the bargain, so I'll mostly give him a decent star rating.

Small in size

A little smaller than I expected but honestly, he's perfectly size for the Trackmaster trains. Very detailed. Happy customer!

Just right.

I bought this for my 3 yr old Grandson as he is so into Thomas and he was using another type small figurine pretended it was Sir Topham Hat. He was thrilled with this, even though it has a base, it was a great size for Thomas trains. A regular figure of Topham Hat without a base was way to much money. He didn't notice the base he was thrilled to get him just the way it was. Definitely would recommend.

Figur Sir Topham Head

Die Figur ist von den Maßen her ganz gut für die Spur G zu gebrauchen. Für H0 ist diese Figur viel zu groß, aber ich habe die Maße ca. 80mm hoch gelesen und es passt wirklich ganz gut zu meiner kleinen Bahn! Einfach nur klasse!

Excelente juguete

Es un excelente juguete de colección para aquellas personas que les gusta el ferromodelismo ya que es el dueño de los trenes a vapor de Thomas y sus amigos. La calificación que le di es 5 estrellas debido a que es un juguete muy detallado y con buenos detalles del personaje. Lo unico malo es que en la descripcion dice que es para escala H0 lo cual es erroneo ya que mide aprox de 7 a 8 cm. y si fuera escala H0 mediria cuando mas 2 cm.
