Great for train enthusiasts

This was smaller than I thought it would be; however it is the perfect size for the track that goes with it. My grandson loved it!

Doesn’t stop moving

The media could not be loaded. Great fit but they don’t stay down. Kinda odd.

Not the best N scale crossing gate track segment, but can be improved with some changes

After reading the reviews, I decided to try it out for myself. First of all, be aware that this is about 1/2 in. shorter than the standard Bachmann 5 in. N scale E-Z straight track segment. Also, while I am just as disappointed about the "lazy levers", what really ticked me off was that the crossbucks and flashing lights looked a bit too big for N scale and were therefore were out of proportion. As a result, I decided to take the crossbuck/flashing light set from the N Scale Dual Crossing Gates, cut off the "stem", and superglued the cross/light combo over the hole where the intended cross/light from this set is supposed to be. I personally don't recommend this unless you are either a starter in model railroading or you plan to kitbash it.

Works great, arms come down when the trains pass over it. For our Christmas village layout couldn't be better.

Good for beginners, motor and controller upgrade recommended for best results

This Good for beginners who want to get started using operating accessories, but kit bashing recommended for a more Realistic Operation. as some freight and passenger cars may exceed the length of the track section, causing the gates to bounce at times. For kitbashing: IR controller (i.e. Azatrax MRX2 or Grade Crossing Pro) with either a Circuitron Tortoise switch motor or feather servo (for Azatrax MRX2 Only) is recommended. Don't forget to remove pressure springs prior to motorizing the gates. Separate flashers (i.e. NJ international #2095 or Model Power #8574) recommended for lighting as dummy flashers included with original package may be a challenge to modify. Kitbashing recommended for Permanent Layout Use.

Nice crossing gate

In expensive but gates come down when train enters crossing so not realistic.

True what they say. Amazon will deliver your items broke and useless

Box and contents arrived destroyed both times not to mention I selected a HO scale crossing and someone it was switched to N scale. Crossing gate is completely snapped off and part of the track is pushed in which would cause derailment. This is a total Wish job from Amazon.
