As advertised
we bought 2 and would buy them again. HOWEVER: the mattress is simply a board with a 1+ inch piece of simple foam placed on it, and a nice zippered cover for them. i am concerned that as the babies get bigger, they will need a thicker mattress. since i cannot find one specifically for this travel crib, i'll probably have to buy something and cut it down. (not a big deal, but for the money i wanted a better mattress.)

Best Travel Crib
I am so glad I purchased this. My little one (15 mo) had a very hard time sleeping in the traditional pack n play that we had - plus it was always so tough to set up and take down. This crib is AMAZING. Not only did it take like 10 seconds with minimal effort to put up and take down, but my son slept just like he was at home in his normal crib. The mattress is soft and comfortable (based on my son’s ability to fall asleep so quickly). The crib also is a great size and doesn’t take up alot of space (considering if you’re staying in a traditional hotel room). If you are considering getting a new travel crib, GET THIS ONE! We are so grateful we did!

Comfortable, safe travel crib
We used this as my son’s main crib for 4 months while we were in escrow/renovating our house. At first, I purchased a pack n play, and I immediately returned it because the mattress in the pack n play was so thin and I couldn’t imagine having my baby sleep on it for an extended period of time. It was also not easy or quick to set up or tear down. I thoroughly researched alternate travel cribs and narrowed it down to the Bjorn and the Lotus. I decided on this one because of the mattress and the ease of set up and tear down. Here are the things I love about it: -it takes less than a minute to set up or tear down. -the mattress is thick and comfortable -it can fit through doorways -it is very lightweight and compact for travel -it looks nice So, now for the things I don’t love -it is kind of an awkward shape (think super large briefcase) when in it’s case, and won’t fit in a duffle-style roller luggage. I had to buy a large, rectangle rolling suitcase in order to pack it and not have to pay the fee to only check the travel crib. - this was not an issue for us, but if you nurse or rock your baby to sleep, it is hard to lay your baby down (especially if you’re short) because the mattress sits on the floor. The Lotus has a zipper on the bottom, so you can lay with your baby in the crib if need be. In all, I don’t think you can go wrong with either, but I would 100% purchase this again and I recommend it to all my friends.

Travel Crib is Great
I love the travel crib, really easy to use. Fitted sheet that comes with it, not so good. There are no slits to pass the tie-down straps through. I had to order sheets from another brand.

FYI: Not a Carry-On
Ok, in use the crib is great. Nice job. Super easy to set up and break down and our baby has slept great in it while traveling. However we bought this crib to avoid paying baggage fees thinking that it would be a carry-on. Once received, it was clear that there was no way it was a carry-on size. So 'fail' there. For $250 I wish the designers would have used their brains a little more to figure that one out... expensive "travel crib" should = size of carry-on, not checked in bag. I spent $250 because I rationalized it with all the $50 baggage fees we'd save. Turns out it actually just fits in my large suitcase, so it give me a few remaining inches to pack clothes around if I still want to avoid check-in fees. In hindsight since I was expecting this to be a carry-on size, I wish I had gone with the competing Lotus Travel Crib. I was wooed by the slightly simpler design (blame it on Apple) and marketing here - and my wife didn't like the reviews about the mattress being slightly thinner. But we travel and put blankets under the crib anyway when setting it up, and both are top of the line - so if I had to choose again and make recommendations to other, I'd try the Lotus (not that I've seen or used it).

Easy set up!
Loved this crib. So easy to set up. The only problem is how hard the “mattress” is. I had to buy an extra playpen mattress so my son could sleep better in it.

I've bought three and still loving it!
I have bought three of these cribs. The first was for visiting grandchildren at our home. It is now with my son and wife and their new baby in their TINY home in Tokyo. Needless to say the size works better for them than a standard sized crib. When my older daughter would come visit she would like that she could get into the crib with the baby since it actually sat on the ground. She didn't have to worry about breaking the bottom. The only possible negative is that when the baby is small some people have a hard time leaning down and picking up the baby. Overall it is a great travel crib.

Nice travel crib.
This is a nice travel crib. Setting it up and breaking it down is straightforward and easy enough. The dimensions when folded mean it won't fit in your luggage (unless you maybe have the biggest suitcase ever made), so you need to pay to put it in checked luggage on the plane. In some airports it comes out in "oversized baggage" (though it's not really that big), so look there when you don't see it with the rest of your checked luggage.
