This bassinet is AWESOME

I actually LOVE this bassinet. It only took me a week or two to get my newborn use to sleeping in it. When we first came home from the hospital we were use to me holding her all night since that's what I did in the hospital bed for 3 days. But after we got a little bit better nursing sleeping schedule. (If I actually sit up to nurse her, burp her and then put her back in it... sometimes I'm lazy and put her next to me while I nurse and doze. But I try not to do that because I get such crappy sleep worrying about squishing her! So when I stick to my guns and nurse, burp and put her in her bed.. then I can see her and touch her just like she's still in the bed with me. And I can pat her and rub her back so she doesn't realize she's not in my bed anymore. And I can sleep soundly knowing shes not gonna get hurt. I would recommend it 100 percent! You can snap the side back in place and zip it up to be a stand alone bed if you're going to leave her in it and use a baby monitor. While you're in a different room. It's a little chinsy and not super sturdy to drag around the room. You have to pick it up to move it. And I'm sure it will only last a few more months until she can sit up etc. But for the time being its AWESOME. And the price was not bad either. Shipping was quick and assembled easy. We just watched the video a few times. Also any regular square/oval bassinet sheets fit it as well. The picture I will post I took while in my bed just looking at her cute little face while she's in "her" bed.

Great starter bed

Bought this wanting something I could have close to the bed but not be a pain and I found that in this unit. Upon opening the box when it arrived, the bed pad portion had a very strong odor and had to be aired out for a couple days for the smell to not be so strong but once I cleaned the whole bed (soap and hot water) the smell was completely gone. Was moderately easy to put together with my only issue being that the bed sits at a slight tilt so it’s not completely flat and we had to bend the bars on the underside slightly to fix this. Stays in place eventhough I don’t use the straps that came with it that go under my mattress and has knobs on the side to raise the bed to my bed height for convenience and aids in taking the baby in and out of the unit with ease without having to get completely out of bed. I bought a nest for the bed that fits perfectly inside to keep our 5 week old from rolling into the mesh and to provide more comfort. Overall this was a good purchase.

I don’t do bad reviews ever but this one needs it

I loved it at first. I’m trying to wrap my head around why the price is so high when this things just all kinds of awful. the bed is so unleveled I thought it was my floors for the longest time I kept moving it and Rearranging my room to level it out and I realized it’s the bassinet. The buttons to adjust the height are not working for me half the time and when it won’t work it’s damn near impossible to get it to go up or down. The legs are just so thin and just look unsafe like if u move it a tad to a different direction the leg flexes and it’s just ridiculous and not sturdy when it’s at the highest level more so. The wheel is only on one side when I’m Trying to get out of my bed it’s like I have to pick the whole thing up to move it because the wheel is on the opposite side and the brake is on the side that I need to push. Horrible buy for the price. Don’t Waste your money.

Simple and to the point

I received this item two days ago and our newborn has already slept in it like a champ. It's a very simple sturdy design and was extremely easy to put together which any new parent can tell you is a huge boon. It's a very basic, no frills bed. We originally bought a pack and play that had a bassinet to keep alongside the bed which has been moved to a different room, and while I do miss having easy access to its storage compartments, it just wasn't worth the physical troubles of trying to get the baby in and out of it particularly in the middle of the night. Plus the mesh walls and side door give me easy visibility and access to the baby which makes reaching over to soothe him, or take in and out in the middle of the night awesome. I really wish I'd had this bassinet when we first brought him home as I was recovering from a cesarean. I was hesitant to purchase initially since there were few reviews, but I'm glad I took a chance. It's a solid bassinet if you're looking for a side sleeper with no frills functionality that won't break the bank. Pros: * Extremely easy to setup and requires no tools * High visibility to baby via mesh walls * Easy access to baby via side door/wall Cons * No storage other than a tiny pocket on the back of the bed * Does not lift very high. In our case we have a 14" platform frame with a 12" mattress and no box spring so the base (mattress) of the bassinet at max height sits a tad bit lower than the top of the mattress which was acceptable to me The door flap of the bassinet lines up perfectly with the top of the bed however. This definitely wouldn't work with a higher bed setup.

Great and convenient!

Love this bassinet! I could use it at first because it was way too short for the bed we were on. It was on laid out on top of two bunkbed beds so we mainly just used it for nighttime diaper changes. Since we moved and pur bed is at its normal height however it is the perfect height for it! We put it at its highest setting and it aligns nicely with our bed. At night after putting my baby to sleep we start her out in her bassinet and she sleeps there until she wakes up and needs to eat then I just scoop her up and keep her in bed for the rest of the night. I know some people are concerned about the co-sleeping side not being mesh but honestly that part is against your bed anyway so even if it was mesh it wouldn't do any good because obviously the bed isn't mesh as well. Also, babies are pretty smart and reposition their heads if they're unable to breathe. Coming from a mama who let's my baby sleep in bed with me, I would know. Also, for those who complain about the hardness of the mattress. It's supposed to be hard because it's unsafe for babies to sleep on super squishy surfaces. My baby has no problem with it at all.
