Fun Toy for Parents
This is such a fun toy! I think we had way more fun playing with it than our daughter, but she was only 18 months at the time. She hadn’t really grasped sticking the blocks together, but she loved pulling them apart. We, on the other hand, had great fun building a house and wheel barrows and binoculars and tall towers. The blocks stick together with little pokey plastic pins that fit between rows of pins on the other blocks. They take a little experimenting, but they are easy to get the hang of. They aren’t great for permanent builds, but they are super fun to take apart and rebuild. We put them away until our kiddo is older, but we will definitely be getting them out again. We might buy more in the future if she ends up liking them. It would be fun to have more to build bigger things with. They come in a pretty sturdy zippered bag for storage. We loved that! We accidentally threw away the little building idea booklet that comes with it. It was tied to the handle of the bag, but we cut it off so we could keep it in the bag. It got thrown away with the packaging, but we’ve had no issues using our imaginations to build fun things with these blocks.

A favorite toy...then and now!
We bought these for our daughters at least ten years ago. They loved them and still build with them when they come across them even now. So, so this year we bought a set as a Christmas gift for our 2 year old niece. We have heard several times since then how much she (and her twin...and her parents) loves these blocks. They are a timeless toy, perfect for fostering imagination and interactive play. As an added bonus, the bag makes this a perfect toy for travels or waiting rooms or wherever you might find yourselves needing a little something to do.

If it works well
I have three, three year old grandsons. the want to build like the cousins who are old enough to manipulate Legos. They do not like Duplo. But they love their "lego" bristle blocks. They do not have to have fine motor skills to use them but they can manipulate them easily and they attach easily so they can build what ever they want. His father love the carrying case.

Bristle blocks are great, but this kit's packaging isn't great.
I (and my kids) really like Bristle Blocks, in general. This kit comes with a good variety of different shapes, colours and sizes and there are enough of them to work with even if you don't have any other bristle block kits. It is however a bit short on specialty pieces, compared to our other kit. It comes with 4 spinners which can be used like wheels which the kids like, and a few "handle" like things (which also spin) which they don't know quite what to do with other than make icecream cones with. It's definitely a more abstract kit, not having any instantly recognizable specialty pieces to work/play around. Like our other kit, the pieces are very well made, slightly pliable plastic that doesn't really have any strong "plastic smell". They're extremely easy to attach together in all sorts of different ways, I can't see even very young kids having issues with them but my kids even being old enough to deal with small LEGO pieces weren't put off instantly dismissing it as a "baby toy" either. Where I'm kind of disappointed with this kit is the packaging, while it does come with a reusable canvas/plastic bag that you can put the kit back into (with room to spare for a few more pieces) easily enough, it's not as easy to use, as durable, or have any cool secondary uses with the kit like the bristle blocks that come in the study plastic tub with a baseplate doubling lid. There is also a heck of a lot more waste generated by this kit as the pieces come in quite a lot of plastic packaging inside the reusable bag which is slightly frustrating to deal with. So while this particular kit is not my favourite, it's still far from bad and a good building toy all around.

Hours of fun
I bought this product for 2 reasons - 1 because it was similar to the stickle bricks I bought my own children when they were young and they loved them. 2 They are BPA free now which is good. My little granddaughter loves them and has no problem sticking them together. They are sturdy and are colourful.

Excellent Starter Set.
The Stackadoos Bristle Blocks is an excellent starter set of blocks. The blocks have interlocking bristles (think like a brush) that interlock so that you can stack and build fun creations. The set comes with 68 blocks. Enough blocks to build amazing creations like rocket ships, cars and robots. Unlike other bristle block sets that we own from Battat, this set has wheels that are only one piece. The looks slightly like flowers and can be used in a variety of ways. There are three pieces that look like nose cones from a rocket ship. My kids use these at hats for robots, nose cones for rockets and the front of their cars and trains. The entire set comes in a zippers carry bag for storage. Over time I feel this bag is going to break down and we will need to find a different storage solution. The blocks are colourful and inspire imaginative play. They are great for all ages but do have a "young feel" about them. The recommended age is 2+, but please be aware that there are small pieces that could pose a choking hazard. The blocks are easy to clean, which is very important to us. Use warm soapy water to clean them. We use a toothbrush to get in between the bristles and then let them air dry. My children love to play with these blocks. We use them in STEM activities and just for playtime. This is our favourite set and when added it to our other sets they fit seemlessly allowing my kids to let their creativity soar.
