B & C Eagle B16-114 1-1/4-Inch by 16 Gauge Galvanized Finish Brad Nails
I addition to other brands, I've been using the B&C nails in all of my various pneumatic nailers for years and have never had any issues with them. These 1-1/4" nails have been working fine in my PC 16-gauge straight finish nailer. No problems with jams or with the nail strips hanging up in the nail chute. These nails are electro-galvanized, so are good for some types of exterior trim work. I generally find myself using galvy nails for interior trim and everything else these days and since the price difference really isn't that much, I don't even bother to stock bright nails for my pneumatic nailers anymore. I find these to be very good finish nails at a decent price for a 2500 count box.

Clean and straight. Depth accuracy is perfect
I was using these to toe in baseboard molding etc. I work alone and needed to line everything up and hold up one end as an extra man holding at the other end. They worked perfectly.

Works well
During my busy season I shoot about 3,000 nails per week with my Ridgid nail gun and they have worked well, only the usual, rare random failure. Definitely a good value for the money.

Fatter heads/feed problem
Loaded my smaller finish nailer with these and discovered that after the first one I was shooting blanks - pardon the pun. After some investigation I discovered that the heads on these are almost imperceptibly larger than those on the Paslode brand I usually use, and this is causing them to not feed properly in the nailer. See potato pics - these on the left, Paslode on the right. You can see that the ones on the left are a tiny bit taller/fatter than the right. My larger finish nailer will fire them, and I've wasted a fair few during my investigation, so I'm not going to try to return them but I won't be purchasing them again.

Is what it is!
As described.

Superb Nails
These are much stronger than my regular 18 Gauge brads, and since each set is more compact than the usual brads, my Paslode nail gun is capable of handling more brads with a single load.

Work better than DEWALT in my Craftsman Nailer
I used DEWALT 1 1/4 in my Ten year old Craftsman nailer and I learned the hard way that all nails are not created equal. The DEWALT nails were flimsy and went sideways through the woods and straight through the bottom of my thumb and the top of the nail. The nails kept going n o matter where I placed the gun on the pine slats. I ordered the B&C Eagle 1-1/4-Inch and they arrived in two days and I finished my project with no sideways shots at all. It will be B&C Eagle all the way now.
