Excellent dog ladder

It's difficult for any manufacturer to make a ladder fit all boats. This ladder is well built and has many important features. With a little customization it can fit any boat. Shortened all pieces necessary to fit my boat. Installed on a Grizzly 1860 Tracker.

Better than all metal steps I have used

Well once the dog figured out how to use it this ladder worked perfect. Its a little bigger than i would like but the fabric works much better for the dogs feet than most of the metal steps out there. One interesting things the assembly instructions suck I though I was missing pieces but I figured it out after a few minutes. Also the lower section which rest on the boat is different than what is in the photo but I think it works better than what is shown. It actually supports it self on the bottom of the boat with a curved section at the end. I would buy it again.

Pictured incorrectly

Picture is not correct. The attachment point to the boat is not squared off and wide as pictured it is a narrow arch and about half of the width.

The storage compactness and paw steps

Works great for our boat dock. Our lab has no issue climbing it to get out of the lake.

Works great. We had to rig it for our boat dock but it was easy as drilling 2 holes. Our lab has no issue climbing it.

Works with modifications

This thing will work but I may take some modification depending on the layout of your boat. My dog decided to use the sponsons in the back and began ignoring the ramp otherwise I’d still be using it.

Not bad

Dogs like it ok, was missing a hole that should have been in the metal, hubby drilled himself but not easy assembly due to that

Only for super small boats such as a canoe

The description was not complete enough to determine whether this would fit our boat before purchasing it. I assembled it and took it to the marina to install. It’s too wide to hang from our ladder and too small to fit over the side. By the time I went through all these steps, I missed the return date by one day. Even if it had fit, it would have been very bulky inside the boat while not in use.
