The fit was perfect and the fabric very comfortable. I have already received several compliments on them and wanting to know where I purchased them. The best pair of shorts I've ever owned!

FINALLY GREAT CARGO SHORTS FOR WOMEN. I work for a valet service that requires me to wear black shorts. These Dickies are the best shorts I have found with enough pockets, including 2 Velcro pockets, 2 back pockets, and 2 side pockets, to hold everything I need. The shorts have belt loops for my belt and carabiner(s). I have two pair of these shorts and will purchase a third soon. So glad that Amazon carries these.

Not what I expected
I ordered my usual size but these were so big I didn't have to unbutton them to take them off! Since I don't carry a purse I need big pockets with closures to carry my DL, cc and insurance card plus my phone. The pockets weren't deep enough for my phone as more than half of it was uncovered. I returned these and ended up with another brand that has deep pockets and fit nicely with zippered closures.

Love the cargo pockets
I buy these for work. I have to have black and need large pockets. The waist is not contoured. Sure would be nice if it was! I have to wear a belt which I hate. The length is perfect for work. I find they do fade quickly and have been adding a color protection to the wash. They fit otherwise as well as expected.

Would Not Recommend
I ordered a size 2. I have the Dickies carpenter pants and they fit wonderful. These shorts are horrible fabric that cling on to every curve of your body. The waist was still too big but the legs were super tight. Wish that these could have worked out. No way you could do hard work in these bending over and moving frequently.

So. Many. Pockets. They all close!! I wear these all the time during the summer. I had them rip once, in the pocket. Because it was overstuffed
