Very useful

Nylon ropes are stronger and yield less under load, but these braided (polypropylene) ropes are strong enough for most purposes and not as slick as the nylon ones, so that most common knots hold better without taking extra precautions against loosening. The mount for the rope is also very practical in use and I am actually rewinding other ropes packaged differently onto it. Nylon and propylene, the rope ends have a tendency to unwind, so securing the rope ends by searing, glueing, or other methods is in either case advised.

Pretty much what I was looking for

I have been looking for a 1/4 inch camo rope, I saw this and figured it was a good color and actually looked camo. It looks more green in your hands than in the photo, but not really in a bad way. I think the green just didn't photograph. It is still an excellent color that I had been looking for. This rope doesn't have a nylon core, it actually doesn't even have a "core" it is just solid through. the same rope you see on the outside is continued inside. This helps it keep the same uniform color if you decide to trim it & melt the ends - no white core to show through and break up the camo. A few areas on it were frayed, which wasn't exactly something to smile about, but for the price i can't complain much. The rope is very flexible and "lively" so you can play with it a lot. Knots can be tied snug in the first place so you don't have the issue with the knot being tightened while it is tied to something & then being impossible to untie due to lack of flexibility. I plan to use it to make a rope halter for my horse, and I like knowing that I can always untie without cutting it off in case she sets back on it & pulls the tie knot tight.

I use this for a personal craft anchor system. The guaranty of flexible is important. For the size it is extremely strong.
