A Great Product
Well, TRUGLO never lets me down. They make good, really good, products and they don't sell junk. If I could shoot with two hands I would have ordered two. The brand is exceptional. I am not paid for my thoughts or review. I love the BOA system. No fuss, it just works well.

Great product - Allen Wrenches DO NOT fit but no big deal
Great product, does exactly what you need. Be aware that the Allen wrenches provided DO NOT fit (too small) the lengthening pin. I returned one for a replacement and the same ones arrived. Just use your own slightly larger, and you'll be fine.

Nice fit, bad trigger
The media could not be loaded. The fit and finish of this release was very nice. Comfortable on the wrist and boa system is nice. The problem I had was with the trigger. It felt gritty and made a popping sound where the trigger socket and spring come together right before the mechanism released. This is very distracting when trying to concentrate and you need your trigger to be smooth and surprise you. I have ordered the detonator so hopefully that will be smoother and quieter as it looks like a different trigger system. Listen closely to video l. When that sound is right up against your ear during anchor it’s very loud

Good release
I bought this for my wife just to try something a bit different than she had been using and frankly as a backup release. But she as really like it, for her is a nice adjustable fit that is perfect for her wrist. The triggering mechanism is very soft and releases without delay. Even though the trigger tension is adjustable she preferred it just as it can out of the box.

Comfortable, smooth release!, but watch the trigger return spring.
Great release, the single jaw is nice and easy on my D loop, and the break is clean and light. I'm getting 2 inch groups at 20 yards with budget sights and arrows, the release makes all the difference! Update, the return spring behind the trigger has fallen out. The release still works, but I have to be very careful not to touch the trigger while drawing. I'll be replacing with a trufire smoke, which I have 2 of. I want to like this release, but for the money, I expected better.

Instructions on use of Allen Wrenches
Instruction: So the TruGlo Activator Archery Release has two small allen wrenches hidden in the top part of the packaging. Search carefully. The smaller of the two allen wrenches fits between the trigger and its housing. Pull the trigger back and hold it back, the push the smaller allen wrench into the device. Turning it clockwise will change how much the trigger opens (I think). Then the larger allen wrench has two functions. Push it into the small opening opposite the trigger, way in, and then turn clockwise to reduce pre-travel of trigger. Then the same larger allen wrench also removes the screw that secures the black plastic housing to the silver metal rod (with holes in it). Remove the screw completely and set the length of the rod and sleeve, the return the screw and tighten. Review: The wrist strap tightens will with the "BOA" system. But when you release it, to remove the strap, you lose the setting. Each time you have to tighten it again, and there is no way to back off the tightening other than releasing it completely and starting over. Also, this release at full length is too short to reach from my wrist to my finger tip. I have to release it with the joint of my finger closest to my hand. And my hands are not that large. Worst of all, the D-loop slips out of the release with only modest tension on the bow string. Useless. Maybe there's some way to adjust the allens to prevent that? But it shouldn't happen at any setting. Do not buy. Conclusion: Not recommended.
