Did not fit like others of same brand

These were my 12th pair of Lyssee pants, all size medium. These fit like a small. They were too short and too tight. Size medium in the other 11 pair fit like a glove. Had to return them.

Nicely made but not at cute as I had hoped

I’ve had lysse pants in the past and my experience is that they are extremely well made and comfortable. These had both qualities and the denim color was exactly what I wanted. They fit nicely and we’re comfortable. They just were a little more bland looking overall. It’s hard to explain. They would be ideal for someone looking for jeans for work or for someone who has trouble finding a good fit. I am 5’4, 140lbs and usually a size 6-8. Lysse is very flattering on the but and in the front. There is no weird wrinkle or seem. I think if they had been a little longer, they would have been more of what I was looking for. They were just below my ankles but since my legs are not long, and extra 1/4 inch would have worked. I would still recommend these but they didn’t work out for me. Also, this brand washed beautiful!

Where have these been all my 30s?!?

Bought the skinny pair and figured I'd give these a spin. SO glad I did! I've had inflammation and weight gain over the past few years and have really struggled to clothe my now slightly heavier self. I've basically lived in leggings and baggy tops, holding out hope to lose those stubborn extra pounds while hiding under lots of fabric. Being amply "blessed" in the backside I've always struggled to find jeans whose pockets don't look completely ridiculous on my butt. This company seems to not only have mastered fabric (hands down, EVERY piece is spectacular in this regard) but also pocket placement. These (and the skinny pair I got before them) are SO flattering I can finally forego the baggy tops and wear them like regular pants! Fit is more or less true to size, and denim styles seem to run a tiny bit larger in the waist than the ponte pants and leggings. I wear a L in lighter weight fabrics (so things aren't crazy tight & can pass for professional attire) and an M in their denim. After buying the first pair I immediately went out and got 3 more in various styles, and several of their tops as well. I absolutely adore their fabrics and the thought put into the design of each item. These are wardrobe investment staples at pretty reasonable prices for what you get. If you're on the fence, hop off and give them a try!

ALMOST perfect - inseam is an inch too short

I love Lyssé leggings (have a bunch) and wanted something a bit looser around the ankle. These fit like the leggings do - extremely comfortable, like a dream- but they are strangely short for a pant with a slight flare at the bottom. I'm average height (5'6") and bought the large size, but they don't even brush the top of my tennis shoes. Not a great look with any kind of shoe. I really wanted to love these pants, but I wear them only around the house. They don't seem to offer an alternative with a longer inseam. So sad. btw the other reviews are right: the pockets are very low ... they sit under* the curve of your tushie. Not a deal-breaker for me anyway, but I definitely understand the complaint. Would be better with interior pockets.

Really comfortable

I really love the way these fit me . I'm 5' and overweight. These stretch just right and not too short or too tight on my legs. The belly part is supportive. Wearing XL right now. Cons: Fabric and stitching quality not the best. Watch for price drops, they are pricey.

Above the waist, soft knit denim, pull-on jeans.

I am only 5’1” and have always had to shorten my jeans. Thankfully, having to alter my pre-made clothes taught me to sew. If you find you always need to adjust the lenth of your jeans many Dry Cleaners have Seamstresses who can alter any hem or pant length you may need.

Extremely tight at waist

I wanted to love these pants, as it's difficult to find jeans that fit and they had potential. I tried both an XL and a 1X -- the XL was super tight in the waist but fit ok elsewhere, and the 1X was ALSO super tight at waist, but baggy everywhere else. I looked at the waistband to see if I could somehow remove the elastic band that's the culprit for the tight waist, but there's really no way to do so w/o ruining the pants. Returned both pairs.

Great fit but..

Wonderful how it makes you look 2 sizes less .. but.. it had dog and human hairs ..and tiny feathers! here and there. Will wash in case of allergies.

Attractive and REALLY comfortable denim jeans

Denim jeans are well made attractive and really comfortable. The amount of stretch in them is just right. Nice weight - not too heavy. Would highly recommend them. Also have worn the toothpick denim style and have loved them.

Super tight in stomach area.

I liked these pants but despite their stretchiness, they are very snug. Medium = AU 10-12. Looks okay with loose tops that cover the muffin top they create.

Strange fit

I am not keen on this style. The back pockets are so low down it looks strange. The belly band is so tight it creates a muffin top.
