Nice plastic pot--Looks good
Ordered for a lighted birch tree I purchased for my wife because she hates taking down the Christmas Tree because she misses all the lights. The pot fit perfectly and looks good.

Perfect, and Well Made!
I love this planter!! Perfect for my faux bathroom plant that came in a tiny pot made of paper mache! Love the shape and the size - this is the 6 inch. Though it is a plastic material, it is solid, but not too heavy for a shelf. I really like that it has a certain texturing within the black (color more like a dark charcoal gray) that makes it look like stone or travertine. There are tiny wisps of a lighter gray that make it really look like a heavy, expensive planter. Great value for the money. Gonna pick up another and one in the light gray.

Great looking and solid planter
I now have four (4) of these planters around my house and am planning to get a couple more here soon (need to catch-up with all my cuttings). I bought my first Novelty (strange name but nothing 'novelty product' about these) at a store after many weeks of looking for a solid, simple, stone-looking planter. These things are tough thick resin and quite heavy, but much lighter than if they were real stone or concrete. They look great from afar and as long as you're not examining it from 5 inches away they can pass for a stone-like material or at least GFRC. In addition to their good looks, they have a great insert in the bottom so that it can function as a self-irrigating planter to some extent. While you cannot fill just the reservoir nor see how much water is in it, it does help to prevent water from pooling at the roots (as long as you are not over-over watering). Any slight overwatering drains into the reservoir where a plug of soil allows it to slowly wick back into the pot. There is a drain plug at that bottom too in case your plant is drowning.

Intact upon arrival, but cracked later.
UPDATE 5/3/20: ONE CRACKED WHILE BEING FILLED WITH SOIL :( I was so sad and pissed off it cracked. Used gorilla glue inside and out and then duct tape on the inside just as a reinsurance. So far it's holding steady. I was super excited when I received these pots. Although the packaging was less than adequate, literally no bubble wrap, mine were delivered in perfect condition. I was leery of ordering these as I saw many reviews that stated their pots arrived with a crack,. But I am happy I took a chance. These pots have a decent weight to them and just BEAUTIFUL! They do have the insert for drainage at the bottom inside the pot and there is also a little hole underneath the bottom of the pot with a plug in it that can be removed. It's little, but you could drill another hole or two. These will be in door pots so I have no need to make more holes as I want it to be self watering. The sage color is pretty much what you see. So glad I ordered 2. If it survives the shipping, you will be happy!

I bought this because my plant outgrew the 6 inch pot it was in. This planter was 8 inches, but the piece inside that allowed it to be automatically watered made it so my plant still didn't have enough room. I removed that plate and then had the room needed. I read another review saying that it looked like real stone. I disagree. It looks like a plastic pot, but it wasn't terribly expensive and it has a drain plug on the bottom which I like.

Attractive And Useful
My deck is filled with plants and a few tomato plants. I needed some new planters, my others have worn out, and I added new plants this year. I love red geraniums with a few colored green or varied green leaf plants. This rectangular planter is perfect for the plants, but it also showcases their vibrant colors and brilliant leaves. These are really a standout on my deck. I put one on each corner, and the green leaves have grown so that they are trailing down the pot. What a glorious look on my deck. I am so very pleased. This pot has substance and staying power. There is a plug on the bottom to let water drain, which is very convenient. For the price this is the best plant container I have found.
