Well designed low profile rice cooker with a lot of possibilites
Read the manual. It's a bit complicated to get used to the first few times but completely simple afterwards. easy to clean parts that just slot out to be washed. Dare you to try the cake setting.

I LOVE IT!
I have been wanting to replace our Rice cooker as it was really old and burns the rice once left on "Keep warm" mode for a while. This rice cooker does an excellent job! And ofcourse there are so many other functions too! The only thing that disappointed me was its color, it says Champagne but I got a dark brown one, but other than that I'm very happy with this product!

This is labeled as toxic. Thank God for California. Although I’m sure it’s just the cord, it’s not transparent as to which part of the product warranted the label and since I’m not interested in adding any more toxic materials to my kitchen (already made a concession with the Ninja blender), I’ve returned this product. Sidebar for those who will buy this anyway: if you’re concerned about replacing the inner pot in the future (from natural wear and tear), its size is 8inches wide and 4 inches in height. The only reason I need a new rice pot is because my last one did not have an affordable replaceable inner pot. Another sidebar: I was optimistic about the color but it really is brown, the only champagne part is on the display screen. I would make sure this will matches with your kitchen decor. I thought it was an unattractive brown.

Just what I had been looking for
I owned an Aroma rice cooker for 10 years. I loved my old rice cooker but it is time to get a new one. I stumbled across this model on Amazon. I like its color and its sleek design. It is shorter than that of my old one so it fits under the kitchen cabinets nicely leaving enough room for the steam to escape. This Aroma rice cooker does not fail my expectation. It cooks perfect rice, restaurant quality. Even my non rice eater hubby enjoyed the rice and asked for more. This Aroma rice cooker is a smart multi-functional pot beyond the basic rice cooking function. It has so many features that I’ve never imagined a rice cooker can do, steaming, slow cooking, stewing and making porridge, soup, even cake. These have not been tested yet. I wish the inner pan was stainless steel though! The lid is hard to clean too.

Worth the money!
Been using cooker for a few days now have to say it's worth the money! It takes some getting use to but I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new rice cooker.

Excellent rice cooker
I had a simpler rice cooker from Aroma before this and the costing in the pot started to chip. Replacement pots were sold out so I bought this one. It is my first micom rice cooker and I am completely sold on this technology. My previous cooker lacked it and would overcook rice on the bottom of the pot to a gross tan color. This one always cooks it absolutely perfect! I’ve also used cake mode to make banana bread and pineapple upside down cake and it baked both perfectly! No checking the bread or cake required, no heating up the kitchen with the oven, it just cooked them till they were done and switched to warm when done. Amazing. I look forward to trying the other modes for sure.

Fast delivery, very usefuld eow
I got two of these cookers, one is the Japanese version which cooks delicious yogurt. They are perfect for a small family of 3 members. I am using them almost every day, sometimes both in the same time. Not just to cook rice, but also sautéed veggies, soups, stews, oatmeal, chili, steamed veggies, in short the main course and side dishes. Another reason I am enjoying this cooker is the interior dish which is still looking good! No worn out signs. Most of all I find it easy to clean. The instant pot on which I spent a fortune from a well known local store, is in the garbage now. It was heavy, dangerous, took a lot of counter top space, the interior dish lost its tfal coating and even got stained with rust, in less than one year, and I did not use it as often as Aroma cooker. Not so versatile and durable as Aroma cooker. When I decided to buy the first Aroma cooker, the attached video just made me say wow several times and decide to get it. I wish I could buy a recipe book too but you know what, I could adapt our favourite recipes and become creative. In short, I am very pleased with my Aroma cookers.

Perfect results; easy-to-use and nice looking
I love this rice cooker. So easy to use. Perfect white and brown rice and quinoa. Haven’t tried the steaming function yet. Cooking any grains has already paid for this cooker many times over. Also I think the nicest looking rice cooker out there. Cooks evenly and quickly. And I don’t have to worry about more parts (fuzzy logic cookers) breaking down. Simple, clean, easy to use, and nice looking. And doesn’t break the bank. Love it.

very useful
Was sceptical with the need for a rice cooker. Considered a basic one, but decided to go higher end. Now asking why I didn't have a rice cooker all along. Rice is amazing, the different functions are awsome. Find a use for it almost every day besides rice. Use the steam option often to re-heat foods.

Kids are gone . . moved out. . just me and my wife. This is perfect for us, just enough food, the pre-settings are very useful even used the soup setting to make homemade tomato sauce. If you buy one, experiment!! Fantastic - Fantastic .. Fantastic.

Great! But no warranty in Canada
My old Aroma rice cooker stopped working after being used a few times a week for over 4 years. It was a simple white one with a digital display. I decided to upgrade a little this time and after doing my research, went for the Aroma brand again. One big pull was the 5 year warranty. At the time of adding it to my cart, Amazon offered a warranty through them for an additional cost, which i declined, because it already came with one. The cooker showed up earlier than expected and I immediately went to register the warranty. NO WARRANTY for Canadian customers. I wish Amazon would make that more clear. After contacting them to see if i could get the add on warranty after already purchasing it, a customer service agent said they would do some digging, but I never heard back. If it lasts as long as the last one though, I shouldn't really need the warranty. That being said, I don't know if this cooker makes rice any better than our last one (they both make delicious rice). I love the delay timer. I use it for rice, and actually most often for steel cut oats. I love adding berries into the oats the night before, pushing the porridge button, and having a tasty oatmeal ready for breakfast. The oatmeal button works great in the morning too if I haven't prepped the night before, but I prefer the all night personal, the oats taste better. Last week I made some banana bread using the cake setting for the first time. It came out of the pot very easily and cooked evenly. It was very moist. Almost too moist, I might use less liquid if I did it again. An average cake without the added moisture of bananas would probably would probably benefit from all that steam. Anyway, overall, very happy with it, and can't wait to find other ways to use it.
