This watch is so much more than I expected
I love watches. Let me just put that out there to start. I have quite a few, though I'd consider my collection very "budget friendly". I have some nicer watches I've received as gifts, but generally I like to stay around the $100 mark. Less if I can help it. I usually (always) gravitate towards G shocks, and have quite a few of those, but I wanted something, different. I feel like I'm getting bored of G shocks, especially for the money. I'll be honest with you- nothing I do in my daily activities warrants needing anything "shock proof". I'm laid up with a bad back as we speak, so unless I stumble limping to the refrigerator and miraculously bash my wrist against the wall, I'll probably make it just fine with a standard watch. Don't get me wrong, I love em and have daily driven one for the past 6+ years. They make many cool styles and colors, I just don't need the ruggedness that brings up the price tag. Which finally brings me to this little beauty by Armitron. Never have I ever even considered this brand, until the other day I was watching a Yankees game, live on Prime (well played Amazon), and they ran a commercial stating that Armitron has been a sponsor to the Yankees since.....I dont remember when..... not important....but here we are! I really wanted a fun watch with some color for the summer, but again, wasn't feeling G shock prices for a colorful watch I may or may not wear more than once. Well let me tell you, I was very pleasantly surprised! You know how when you hold a cheap watch, you just know? Well I didn't get that vibe from this watch. I've received a fugazi G shock once and could instantly feel the difference. This watch, at a very modest $22 bucks, doesn't even feel like that did. I put it on right out of the box, and it just felt right. It's comfortable, the band is pliable but doesn't have sharp plasticy edges....it's just nice! I can't speak for accuracy or if it's going to hold up to my vigorous activities of laying on the couch, but only time will tell. **I've read so many watch reviews and I promised myself I'd never make that tacky pun, and yet I couldn't help myself. I suck. If you made it this far in the review, you owe it to yourself to just buy it now. Like I said, I've been laid up on my back staring at the ceiling and window shopping for cheap watches, so I feel like I've seen them all. Admittedly I was a little worried on the yellow, but it has a touch of orange in it so it's not AS bright as you might be thinking, but still a statement piece for sure. As for functions, I have no clue. I haven't used a function on any of my watches since.....ever. I don't wanna be the nerd beeping through functions on my digital watch. "Hold on *beep* *beep* just looking for the timer, *beep* woops one too many, *beep* *beep*...." I'm good on all that. We have smart phones for a reason. Which, by the way, it does beep at every button press and according to reviews, I don't think it can be silenced. As long as the time and date are displayed, I'm golden. Maybe I should start using functions....I can use the stopwatch to see how long it takes me to get from the couch to the bathroom on my knees and try to improve my times. Hmph. Oh, and the backlight is pretty decent, too! Unlike similar watches that I discussed earlier whose lights are TERRIBLE. Hundred dollar watch and the light is a measily little bulb that barely does anything. Really Casio? It's 2021 guys. Time to step it up. This one though is cool as heck. The numbers all light up in blue and easy to read, almost reminiscent of the Timex Indiglos, and that just makes me happy. Buy it. You'll like it. /fin

This is a nice watch, with good functions
The band started to tur dark within a few weeks, Now, after almost 2 years, it look filthy. No matter what I try, I can't clean it.

A beautiful watch!
It is an Armitron so I got the quality that I expected from it. It is well made and beautiful. The Yellow color makes it bold and outstanding. The price makes it a steal to me.

Great for the Price!
I love color, so I’ll probably order another in a different color. I was considering the Timex UFC Impact in red, which May technically be an ani-digi, but is very similar in appearance but is $85 and has less water resistance. Though Armitron is considered a US company, the watches are made in China and, as you can see in the confusing labeling, the packaging reflects what is often expected from many items made in China. The box says WR is 165 feet. The booklet says “as indicated on the watch. The case back, the Amazon listing, and the watch face state 100 Meters (or 330 feet). It feels well enough built. I’m not a fan of the acrylic crystal, but a mineral or gorilla glass crystal would make the price go up. As for the comparison with the red Timex, my opinion is that this one wins in appearance, features, and price.

Beach watch
We only use for the beach so don’t use all the functions. The price was rift for what we needed.

Inexpensive, decent features
I bought this for my 9 year old and he's pretty happy with it. It is inexpensive, so it's easy to forgive the cheap feel. While it has a pretty large body, it's still fairly light, and I was impressed with some of the features such as 5 separate alarm settings, 2nd time zone, and count down timer in addition to stop watch. I probably would opt for a more expensive, nicer option if I was buying for myself, but so far my kid hasn't been able to go more than a couple of months before breaking previous watches, so the appeal of a sub-$20 option should be obvious. We'll give it a few months and see how it holds up.

More features than in online description. Has timer, Reminders & 5 alarms. Great Watch!!!
This is my second Armitron watch. This one has more features than my first one (Armitron Sport Men's 40/8284). And all the features are not listed in this ad. In order of how you scroll through the modes, This unit has: chronograph, lap time aka stop watch, Count down timer, 5 separate alarms, dual time, and "Pacer". It also has military time and backlight. It also has something called "Pacer" which I can't figure out what it is or what it does. I assume that it for setting a pace while running. The instructions are vague on "Pacer" and I can't seem to find any more info about it online. I attached a picture of what the "Pacer" mode looks like. I have tried messing with it but can't figure it out. I really like the extra features. I use the multiple alarms and the count down timer. I also set the 2nd time to UTC. You can set the watch to chime on the hour. I like this feature. It not so loud that it is annoying or even enough to wake you up when it beeps. I feel it is just the right volume. My first Armitron will lay down flat when I am not wearing it. This one will not, I attached a picture. The straps will not lay flat. No big deal but thought people would like to know. Picture of the supplied instructions attached. This is a great watch for the price. UPDATE! OK, the function "Pacer" on this watch per the instructions is a calendar reminder. I have a feeling this is not "Pacer" at all as stated in the instructions. I would call in "Reminders". Looks like you can set up to 9 different reminders. You can set a date and time. Turn them on or off. Looks like a great feature but again Armitron has poor documentation on their instructions. Could be used to set reminders for Birthdays or major events. There is no labeling. They call it b1, b2, b3, ... b9. so it may be called "Birthdays".

Gracias

Buen producto a buen precio.
