Fits large, so size down

I tried out several sizes in these jeans to find the right one. I normally wear about a size 4 in US pants. I'm 5'5" and 120 lbs. I ordered a 27 regular, and they were way too long, but the fit around the waist was okay - a little large but comfortable. So I tried a 27 short next. The length was perfect, but the waist and thighs were much larger and too baggy. Finally tried a 26 short and that worked for me - good length, good fit, and they have a little stretch as well.

HAPPY WITH THESE FR WORK JEANS

I BOUGHT A 28 SHORT, I AM 5 FOOT ZERO, 125 POUNDS, SIZE 4 JEAN NORMALLY, THESE JEANS ARE LONG FOR SHORT, BUT I AM USED TO THAT, SO I HEMMED THEM. NO BIG DEAL. MY ONLY COMPLAINTS ARE THE POCKETS IN THE FRONT ARE REALLY DEEP AND I HATE THAT. SO I ADJUSTED THAT AS WELL, EASY FIX. THE JEANS ARE ALSO A LITTLE STIFF. THEY HAVE A SMALL BIT OF STRETCH. OVERALL COMPARED TO THE ALTERNATIVES OUT THERE IN WOMEN'S FR CLOTHING. THIS IS A WINNER, THE STYLE AND WASH IS VERY NICE. EVEN IF I HAVE TO HEM AND SHORTEN THE POCKETS. I WISH THEY OFFERED FR WOMEN JEANS THAT WERE NOT BOOTCUT, POSSIBLY A MORE SLIM TAPER AT THE ANKLE WOULD BE NICE FOR THE SHORT LADIES LIKE ME. BOOT CUTS ARE NOT AS FLATTERING FOR PETITE WOMEN. SO 4 STARS BECAUSE THEY ARE EXPENSIVE AND ALSO SHORT SORT OF RELATIVE. POCKETS ALSO INSANELY LARGE. BUT I WILL ABSOLUTELY BUY AGAIN. THERE REALLY AREN'T MANY DECENT OPTIONS FOR US LADIES.

Great Women's FR Jeans

I'm a curvy lady with thicker thighs and these work well for me. They are long but they don't drag on the ground when I wear my work boots. I normally wear a 16 or 18 depending on the pants. 34R works great for me.

Women looking to compare size and length

I ordered the 32 L and the 33 L. I wear a size 12/14 in most jeans (especially at American eagle and old nav) and size 15 in juniors at kohl’s. When putting them both on they felt tight around the thighs and I go a bit more movement out of the 33 since I’m on the pipline. However after wearing them for 7 hours the did loosen up around the thighs about an inch or two. They are really flattering for women having to wear FR, super comfortable and feel like jeans. (Not jegging jeans, but actual jeans). Length wise. I’m 5’7.5”. I got a long because I normally have to get a long. However I have an extra 4 Inches on the bottom, with my boots they hit just shy to the ground. I would have gotten the regular length. Side note: I have soccer thighs. If you wear a size 12/14 the 32 would be amazing but with soccer the thigh was kinda tight.

Have You Seen a Human Woman Before?

I don’t think the folks at Ariat know what women’s bodies look like. I am 5’4” and I’m normally between a size 6 and 8 depending on the brands. I bought a 29 (which would normally be an 8 to be safe). I have narrow hips but found these to be really tight there. I have a very toned butt, but these are tight on the top and are really loose in the back. The thighs are way too tight and even for a boot cut the legs are way too wide (think of a bell bottom fit). I wear regular length normally, but probably should have gone for the short length. I had to have FR pants for work, so I will make do. These could be wildly improved.

In search for a female FR pant

Usually I don’t order pants online due to always can’t finding the “right” fitted pants but surprisingly I am glad I bought this pant. Needing a female FR pants when wearing male ones at my work place all the time. I say the down fall for this pant is I wish it was an inch two longer in leg length it would consider perfect. I order 27L. And compare it to the Silver Jean brand I usually wear from Maurice (wear a 27x35) it fits in a smuggish way (bum area) but not severely tight. It have a bit of stretch to it so can bend when needed. Fabric is slightly thicker than an average jean so I like that it’s in pretty good quality range. Waist area is like an inch loose so wearing a belt and putting your tool bag on is great. I would buy another one so I have to pairs to change out when needed to.

Ordedred short but still long

I'm 5 ft 100 lbs. Ordered this jeans in size 25 short. After tried on inseam is still around 3 -4 inches longer than normal "short jeans" Maybe I'm too short. To me the proportion is weird. Button up over belly bottom. Hip was too curvy. Fabric is not soft. It was very beautiful on the model but not on me. Now looking for other style. So I Can return this one.

I got them for a great price or I would have bought a different style. High waisted not flattering body wise legs are wide fit I am a bigger person and the legs are wide a regular is long. After wearing a short time they bag out. Super long pockets. Material is heavy duty durable. If your looking for FR and you need space to have them fitted to your body style they work great.

Fit like Silver jeans.

These jeans shrunk a fair bit in the wash. But for me that was a good thing. As there was a lot of extra material in the crotch. They fit similar to Silver jeans just a little baggier. I had a number of people tho k I was wearing regular jeans and not FR. So a lot better than normal FR clothing for women.

Had one month and seam is coming apart

Girlfriend love these pants. They are the only FR pants she has been able to find that 1) Are for women 2) small enough 3) look awesome However, after wearing them about a dozen times, one of the seams is starting to come apart. (We got in the mail just under a month ago)

Not as expected

Waist fits okay, however they fit more like a men’s pant. Definitely not what the woman in the picture looks like. Huge ( wide )in the hips and legs.
