I took a chance on the Arctix Women's Luge Pullover in spite of the limited information available in the listing, the lack of sizing information, and single product photo. Unfortunately, it didn't work out and I had to return the item. I ordered this in large in the floral print. I have a 36C chest size and would normally order something like this in a large to give room for layering. This ended up being far too big for me, and the tag states that a size large fits a women's 12-14 (I'm normally more of an 8-10, so I'd have needed a medium in this.) Why they couldn't include any of that (or even a photo of the size chart on the tag) in the listing is beyond me. I'd have taken a photo to add to my review, but I didn't think of it at the time and have already returned the item. The overall print and fabric are really nice. It's a weighty, water-resistant outer shell with a soft interior. Unfortunately, the soft interior is also paired with uncomfortable bulky zippers that cause abrasion and skin irritation if this is worn over top of short sleeves or heaven forbid a tank top... but I'll get to that. The front kangaroo pocket offers entry on both sides to keep hands warm, and zips shut on either side. It also has a top flap and a zipper pocket beneath the flap to keep your stuff secure. On the left arm near the wrist, there's another zipper pocket for your rfid lift pass or ticket. The hood on this jacket is awesome, and I love that it's got a panel in front to keep your neck and chin warm. That alone almost caused me to keep this jacket. Unfortunately, the big bulky zippers severely limit arm mobility. I'll explain: Beneath the right arm, there's a large zipper that allows the wearer to unzip the coat to create a gap of about 8 inches in the underarm area, presumably for ventilation and to prevent overheating. Unfortunately, the zipper used is so large and rigid, that it's very uncomfortable against any exposed skin, and also prevents the arm from moving easily while zipped up. Instead of a zipper, a lightweight moisture-wicking panel of stretchy fabric would have been a more appropriate addition here. To make matters worse, the left arm, there is no such individual armpit zipper. Instead, there's one single zipper running vertically from beneath the arm all the way down to the lower hem of the jacket. So, in order to unzip the left pit, you have to fully unzip the whole left side of the jacket, which causes it to flop in the wind. It honestly makes no sense to me. I'm very active with outdoor sports and activities, and had these weird armpit zippers been replaced with a stretchy fabric (or perhaps even a much smaller lightweight zipper) I'd have considered simply exchanging this jacket for a smaller size and keeping it. Unfortunately, the weird bulky zippers caused too much discomfort, and although I love the style and print otherwise, I just know I'll rarely reach for this when I have other jacket and hoodie options available to me. With a few minor tweaks, this would be well worth the current retail price of 80 bucks. I'd love to see a future improved version of this and would not hesitate to buy it if one were made.
