Extremely Long Inseam
I normally wear size 46" x 34" jeans which usually fit me perfectly length-wise. Since I'm 6'4 I ordered the Tall XXL / 34" pants and the inseam was more like 38 inches and quite a bit longer than I needed. Since the rest fits / feels great I'm just going to keep these pants and have them altered.

Attn: BIG OUTDOORSMEN! These pants are for you.
The bad first... The belt that comes with the pants is absolute crap. However, I didn't buy them for that. I have plenty of belts. Also, waist size seemed slightly big but not too far off. They are actually very comfortable and the inseam was perfect. Now the good. I'm a fat guy. 6'0" 380lbs. I was an avid outdoorsman (even being big) but suffered 2 heart attacks and a cardiac arrest which ended all of that. At least for a couple years but I have the need to get back out there. I figured I'd start with hiking. The problem is almost no one makes convertible hiking pants in my size (46 x 30) Then my wife found these on Amazon. They fit great, are very comfortable, and are the lightest pair of pants I've ever owned. Now I will admit most of my hiking in the past was done in either jeans or cold weather pants designed for hunting, but compared to them, these trail pants feel like I'm wearing nothing at all. In conclusion, the best thing about these Arctic Cliff convertible trail pants is the actually make them to fit big guys. I love the fit, the style, and I plan on buying several more pair. Us big guys can't use the excuse of "they don't make hiking pants in my size" because now they do. It's time to get outside and act like horse poop... And hit the trail.

HORRIBLE sizing, some flaws, but still OK
Sizing Sizing is a serious crap shoot! I am a true 32x36 in every pair of pants I've ever bought for 30 years, in any brand. These pants are ALL over the place. I originally purchased 2 32x36 and both were sooo long that they covered my shoes almost completely! Too long?!? This *never* happens with me! My guess is that they were at least a 32x38, and maybe closer to 32x40. FWIW, waist was perfect 32. Anyway, sent those 2 back and got 32x34. 1 fit almost perfectly, about what I'd expect from a 32x36. The other pair were like floods! I'd guess maybe a true 32x34 or maybe even a 32x32! Again, waist on all was a perfect 32. I double checked the labeling on all 4 of these just to make sure I wasn't shipped something incorrectly - all good. Also checked the location of manufacture for all - I've had other brand garments fit completely differently when manufactured in different locations - these were all same location. I'm not sure what is going on, but it's really bad quality control, like they're randomly mixing the zip-off legging pieces, while the upper shorts part seems accurate. Performance In general these worked out well. They're comfortable, light, compact. I have always liked the built-in cinch belt strap on hiking pants and this worked well on these. I tested them out on a week-long High Sierras trip and they did their job well. In case you're wondering - no, they are not water proof/repellent, but they do dry fairly quickly from a complete soak. Gripes Right side leg pocket is a mesh liner and velcro closing flap. When you pull something out of the pocket it pulls the mesh liner with it and that just grabs onto the velcro. It gets pretty annoying to pull that off the velcro while you're hiking so you can put stuff back in and close it. Left side leg pocket liner hangs long. With the legs zipped off and wearing as shorts anything you put in that pocket will hang below the hem down near your knee. Anything - even keys or chapstick. This is not so noticeable with the legs zipped on. Ankle closure is velcro. It can open reasonably wide, but not wide enough to pull the legs off over shoes - even light running shoes. You will have to take off your shoes if you want to zip off the legs. Overall these are decent and I can live with the flaws.

perfect fit
I purchased these pants for a Safari trip, they are men's pants, but they fit perfect based on the size I bought as a woman. The pants were a little long however they had Velcro on the bottom.

Nice pants, just not what I needed
Bought these camps for warm-weather camping with some creek-walking and kayaking. The quality seemed pretty good, lots of secure pockets, the zippers for the legs worked well, and the velcro cinch on the ankles was nice - could see that being useful for walking through tall grass and such. I returned them, but not because they were bad they just weren't what I needed - here's why: Thicker and stiffer than expected - mostly heavy nylon. I could see these being useful for cooler weather or rain/wet weather hiking. They did not have much "flow", if you will, for walking or lounging around the camp - not comfortable in that respect at all. They were quite tough and seemed resistant to things like rocks, thorns, etc. but for the state-park, manicured hiking I'm doing they were just a bit too much. Run quite small - this is usually appreciated since I, too, run quite small. However the small fit pretty well around the waist (the partially elastic waistband had just enough give while keeping them snug, good design) but the thighs and the length were a bit too small. I would say the length inseam as described is not very accurate, seeming to run maybe a half inch or more shorter. I saw the benefit of this as a wet-weather pair of pants, but not for the uses I was planning them for. Finally, they were quite noisy - could definitely hear the crackle and swoop as I walked, more so than other nylon blends. Again, would not have bugged me for a wet or a more-intensive hike (or a motorcycle ride, which I think these would work very well on) but not great for a leisure trip. I got them on special for less than 20$, and I'd say that was good value. Returned, but only because they did not fit my needs not because they were bad pants - so keep that in mind as you plan your summer hikes!

The legs are very tight.
The pants seem well made and would be fine if the legs were not snug. They stretch so they are wearable but l like loose clothing. I don’t think this style pants should be cut tight in the thighs. I own a bunch of these style pants and these are the only ones that have tight legs.

I like em
Price was right . I got one pair of every color. Fit is nice. The fabric is sturdy yet has some stretch to em for durability. Very light pants. Cool for hot days yet break the wind for the colder days. Like others have said the length is a bit long on the leg. That is alright though. Better to be to long then to short. I am 6 foot 6 and 225 pounds so I kinda prefer looser , longer pants. Belt is a nice bonus. Its just a lil clip belt and can easily be changed but its nice to come included. I am pretty happy with mine. All the colors match the pictures. Very comfortable and casual with a rugged feel. I prefer a baggier pants for outdoors. These were nice and loose fitting just how I like em. Budget friendly to. Will see how they hold up this summer and update later if I have any problems. Thanks guys.

Poor Zipper location
I liked everything about these pants except for the position of the zipper to remove the lower section of the pants. The zipper crossed directly across my knee cap. After just a few minutes of trying these out, my knees were getting irritated. I cannot imagine using them for a full day. I have returned these pants and replaced them with Columbia pants that work perfectly for me.

High waisted
36-38W 32L I like the design except for this: The inseam is exactly 32" but when the waistband is riding at my waist the leg is way too long. If I pull them up till the leg is good, the waistband is half way between my belly button and chest, not a good look. Between crotch and waistband its like 13", weird ergonomics.

Relativamente bien
La tela es muy fresca, liviana aunque no protege mucho. El color está bastante bien, su ajuste no es el mejor ya que me quedó un poco amplio. En general, salvo por las cuestiones del ajuste es un buen producto, en especial por el precio.
