Warmer than expected but not as waterproof as desired
These fit well, just as expected, we purchased 3 pairs for women that wear pant sizes 2-10. All fit great, comfortable over other pants. These pants definitely increased the warmth, more than I expected because they are fairly thin and light weight. Unfortunately the 2 women that were snowboarding did get somewhat wet through the pants. Not as wet as they would have been if not wearing these on top, but still some moisture got thru these pants and onto the layers below. Overall excellent product for the value

Overall great for its purpose,
Can't wait to buy another pair. Wish they were made a little bit more of loose fit measurement. Would recommend likely.

Best Snowpants Ive Had!!
I was looking for a pair of snowpants that wouldnt break the bank but also be good for snowboarding. These being kind of on the cheaper side made me hesitant but figured it was worth a shot. I could not be happier with these snow pants! Ive had pants that cost 3x more and arent as nice or as warm. These are an absolutely amazing pair for the price and so glad I bought them!

Fit and material not good, look cheap, stay away from this brand
Tried a number of Arctix snow pants on account of the numerous positive reviews. These "premiums" were the worst ones. They are considerably thinner than the regular snowboard cargo pants, but are seemingly cut to most of the same measurements. The sizing on the regular snow pants already doesn't make sense, and the reduced thickness makes the premiums look and fit comically badly. Specifically: 1. Sometimes the waist of Arctix brand size small snow pants is 34" and sometimes it's 37.5" - which depends on color. Medium seems to usually be 37.5" even if the small is also 37.5". The stretchy bands in the belt (which are sown in asymmetrically by the way) are barely capable of accounting for this gap and as a result you have to be sized lucky to get a good waist fit. This is exacerbated in the premium version because there is so much less insulation padding. 2. The story's basically the same with the hip sizing - small is typically either 41" or 45" by color, and medium is 45". There are no straps to speak of here so if you're in between, you're out of luck. The thin premiums are sized at 43" in medium so at least they made an adjustment there. 3. The inseams and outseams are all over the place, varying by color, and by EACH INDIVIDUAL COPY. Size small inseams seem to be 29-31", size medium inseams 30-32" - all were 32" versions. The outseams are 40-42" for small and 42-44" for medium. Arctix does say +/- 1", but what they smartly leave unsaid is that your individual random combination of measurement errors will frequently add up to a collective difference in fit that's a lot more severe. I only ordered so many pants to compare and get the right fit, mainly cause there were a lot of cool colors and designs I liked and I really wanted to find one that fit. When that didn't work out I thought maybe the premiums. They fit like a sack of potatoes and that could totally be because the waist is 1" larger, the outseam is 1" longer and the inseam is 1" shorter than intended. If I had the patience to keep reordering them maybe I would eventually get lucky with the right combination. 4. Seemingly all Arctix snow pants have a very flared boot opening that looks bad and cheap - they're too large even for a snowboard boot, much less a regular boot. Strangely the snow gaiter diameter changes with respect to pant size and many smalls are too tight and many mediums are almost too loose making me wonder about the large. The looseness of the premiums kinda hid this a little bit, a happy accident. Save yourself time and a headache and just go to a reasonably priced snow gear store, the price premium is worth it.

Good value but choose next size up from what chart recommends
This is a hard review to write so I will try to be fair. The first pair I ordered were L which was the size for my body size according to the chart, however they were significantly too small. I exchanged them for XL and they fit quite well. On the good points, these pants are excellent value for the money, the material is good quality the construction is pretty decent and the poppers, velcro and zips work well to fasten them on. They are also very good in serious cold weather (-19F) and keep you warm and wind tight even in 20mph artic winds. However on the negative side I bought these for walking my dog and when I blow the snow from around my house. The pair they replaced were also for snowboarding or snow sports but the pant ends unzipped completely. If you just want them to go over your boots after you put them on, then these are excellent as they will do that and having the folded guzzet of material behind the zip in the pant leg will make them more air tight and water/snow tight. However you cannot put them on without taking off your boots because of that feature. On the bizarre side I cannot fathom why anyone would want venting slots with zippers on the inner thighs, all this does in make for something to open when you don't want it open or to go wrong and to add needlessly to the manufacturing cost. Overall I am very pleased with these pants and as long as you don't mind putting them on before your boots or don't mind taking off your boots to put them on then these will work for you but I would recommend a size up from whatever the chart says.

Nice Pants!
Nice waterproof ski pants. Lined but not insulated, very comfortable, nice pockets and for the sale price I paid, way more than worth the money. Now seeing the quality I would be willing to pay more for another pair if I ever need them.

Good for the price, the size description is spot on which was a bit bad on my case.
The size is spot on according to the chart. I got an XL which states 40-42, I'm 38-40 so the L would have been too tight and the XL was too lose. The product differed than the picture, the adjusting straps were on the inside and NOT on the outside like shown on the picture, and they did little to nothing to resize the waist. The first day, it was horrible as they kept falling down, really awkward being in the snow with thick gloves not being able to pull them up. The second day I decided to put pants with a belt underneath them and since the straps are inside, I looped them through the belt somewhat as a suspender system to keep them from falling down. Other than that, they kept me worm and were not bulky.

Worth the money for sure.
There are $300 snow pants at the big stores and there are $80 snow pants on Amazon. I find them stylish but I’m 48 so the younger crowd might not like that they aren’t baggy at all. Probably just a little looser than a slim fit. I work outside in the winter and I also snowboard. These pants have held up for both. I wear long johns alone under them and am quite warm to the point of maybe too warm but with the vent zippers on the inner thigh, I cool down nicely. I’d say that even if they only last this winter that I got a good deal. Hopefully they last longer than that and so far it seems like they will. Lastly, I’m 5,9 - 165lbs with a slim/athletic build. I ordered a small (used the sizing chart) They fit tight in the waist at first but loosened up enough to be comfortable very quickly the first time I wore them.

I bought these 3 DIFFERENT pairs of Artix's snow pants, tried them on, here's my review
$35 Arctix Men's Classic Snow Ski Pant: https://www.amazon.ca/Arctix-Mens-Classic-Snow-Pants/dp/B01N4F3X7C/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8 THICK/INSULATED/WARM: Yes AT ANKLE, BUTTONS OR ZIPPER: Buttons OPTION TO CHOOSE INSEAM LENGTH: Yes (only 1of3 this is an option) $53 Arctix Men's Mountain Snowboard Shell Cargo Pants: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B006E882EI/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1 THICK/INSULATED/WARM: No, these are just a thin shell only. AT ANKLE, BUTTONS OR ZIPPER: Zipper OPTION TO CHOOSE INSEAM LENGTH: Yes (they are too long) These have a lot of cool zippers & pockets. There are upper/inner thigh zippers for ventilation (the pair in the AD don't appear to have this). Still not great, but these have the best cut/shape. $57 Arctix Men's Mountain Premium Ski Pants, Black: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B004EAE29W/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1 THICK/INSULATED/WARM: Yes AT ANKLE, BUTTONS OR ZIPPER: Zipper OPTION TO CHOOSE INSEAM LENGTH: Yes (they are too long) Don't have enough 'GIVE' when u try to spread your legs out in a wide snowboard stance. Felt like they were definitely going to split a seam when I tried this. THOUGHTS THAT APPLY TO ALL 3: NEGATIVE: The overall tailored cut/shape is the MAIN PROBLEM. The cut/tightness of the crotch area is like these are made for women only. There's no bulged out pocket of (interior) space for a guys package like men's pants normally have. The pant leg circumference around the leg & ankle is way too big. Very unattractively barrel legged. The opposite of a modern stylish looking fit. From mid-calf down the circumference increases & gives them slight bellbottom'ness. POSITIVE: Good-quality, durable, waterproof feeling material. CONCLUSION: All don't look good for being seen in, due to the barrel leg'ness. I'd recommend the CLASSICs over PREMIUMs. No big difference between the two considering there's a $20 difference. I'm to only keep the classics for snow blowing the driveway

Different fasteners on different sizes - foolish
The large pants come with “snap buttons” as fasteners which were greatand I wanted a medium also for better fit on warmer days because the pants are great but they came with these stupid hooks for fasteners that are obnoxious to try and do up. I will be refunding these for that reason. When you make an article of clothing and offer it in different sizes , make them the same

This is way too large at the ankle
I didn't know they still produced 1970 elephant pants. So extremly disappointed in how this turned out. The picture shows an adjusted fit at the ankle, but it's just so large it looks absolutely ridiculous, even if you wear big boots. The ''technology'' to add an elastic to adjust the bottom part would not have been to much asked, this feels like the pants I was wearing back in the 90's, absolutely terrible. 99% of winter gear in 2020 is much better fitting and better looking than this.
