larger items will not stand up after making

The larger unicorns will not stand up after making them unless up support them. I bent a nd shaped a paper clip and glued it to the back to support it. There is not enough for a party. The item were not dry enough to let the kids take them home with them. We let them dry for 45 minutes and some fell apart.

Basic refill set - but oh so many beads!

This is a basic refill set - there is no container and no bead pen. However there is 1 clear tray, a spray bottle and plenty of beads to keep your kids busy for hours! These are so much fun and my five and six year old really enjoy creating things with the aquabeads! So this Magical Unicorn Party Pack was a hit as the different unicorns are fun - along with the flying unicorns. I love that there are over 2,500 beads in 24 different colors - so many choices! There are also star shaped beads which are quiet nice. There is no bead pen in this set. You will simply lay your paper down and then place the clear tray on top of it. I typically use washi tape to keep it in place as my children are smaller and this just makes it a bit easier! Once done fill the small spray bottle which is included with water and spray your creation, Wait 60 minutes and flip your creation and then spray again and wait an additional 60 minutes. From there it is done! This set did not include a peeler but a butter knife or fork will work just fine. As far as price goes - This is just as pricey as the sets that include a storage container except here they are giving you a display stand which is really just two pieces that clip together - so it is not very impressive. I am using AB Designs 9101ABD Super Satchel Slim with Removable Dividers to store all of my beads - I have three going - one for each type of bead and so far it has worked out well. I did at a bit of hot glue to the edge of each divider so that my kids don't accidently lift them up - I know it can be done as I did it by accident.

Fun but messy!

Aquabeads Magical Unicorn Party Pack is a great set for that unicorn lover in your life. I’m always looking for hands on items, crafts are a lot of fun in this house. My niece is 5 so this was the ideal set for her. It includes over 2,500 beads, she got to design all of her unicorns, and use the mat, and play set my two year old even got to help with supervision of course! The girls loved this so much. There are a lot of different colors to choose from! This can be messy so definitely use supervision. There isn’t storage included in this set so you will be using the good old fashioned zip locked bags!

Hours of entertainment!

We love Aquabeads in our household. They entertain my kids for hours! I love that the beads come together with just a little bit of water instead of having to iron them together like other kits. The beads can easily make a mess all over my floor if not careful. This party pack is really best for 6 year olds + because of the potential mess with the spillage of beads. Other than that it is a great kit. It allows for screen-free and creative play. This kit also makes for a great gift too. Would recommend!

Party for one ?

This set comes with 2500 beads, the flip tray, and the spray bottle. It’s very large package but unfortunately it only has one tray. I definitely feel like at this price point that the set should come with more than one tray. The beads are the circular and star like shapes. My grandkids and I prefer the round ones. They do a better job at adhering together once water has been added. The star shapes really do need to be in the exact “right”position to line up with other stars. This can be quite frustrating for younger kids. Even though this set says it’s for four-year-olds and older, my grandkids did need help. This set is definitely made to play with. There is a background that is a poster like material and there is a purple unicorn holder that the creations can set up in. It’s fun to display them this way but it’s also enjoyable to hold them up for play. The poster also comes with the ability to make very large aquabead creations. There are multiple pieces that can then be put together. It’s definitely an interesting take on it but again, not for a 4 or 5 year old. Overall the price feels fairly high for what’s included. It’s an enjoyable activity but it can be frustrating for younger kids. I definitely feel like there should be more accessories for it to be even considered a party pack. How it comes is more of a party for one.

High quality creative toy

This sparks creativity to my toddlers. It is easy to use and they are having so much fun playing with this. These are definitely giftable- high quality toys!

Don’t waste your money

Pieces would not stay together. We tried multiple pieces. Followed the written directions and watched YouTube videos. Not worth the headache.
