Great for pond and house plants

I use this product when I add water to my outdoor garden pond. I also add a few drops whenever I water my indoor houseplants. Houseplants are very sensitive to chlorine, and this is an economical way to avoid chemical damage to healthy plants.

My Koi love this stuff

When I first started my pond years ago, I noticed my fish would swim on top of water and look uncomfortable any time I added water or did a water change. I finally realized it was probably due to chlorine and other things in water. A friend suggested that I treat my pond like I do my aquariums and it made sense. So I tried API Pond Chlorine & Heavy Metal Neutralizer the next time I added water and there was no issue this time. I have been using a cap full now for years every time I add water or do a water change on my pond. Two of my Koi are now 22+ years old.

Neutralizes Chlorine- Much Better Than Other Pond/Aquarium Neutralizers

First off- this product is hard to find in a pet store. Since it is made for ponds- just a tiny bit is needed for a 100 gallon fish tank. Second off- the price- this product can sell for up to $19 at a pond store. Lastly- and so importantly this product neutralizes chlorine, heavy metals, and ammonia. When my pet store ran out of this product (they only stock it seasonally) I bought another water conditioner from another company. That aquarium water conditioner burned my fish after a water change. Only after reading the label of the other product more carefully did I learn that "treats chlorine and tap water" was expanded to "helps treat" which means.........it didn't neutralize the chlorine and I almost lost my fish. So I am singing the praises of this product and I bought three bottles.

I use to neutralize the water for my vegetable garden

There seems to be something insidious about using water containing chloramines in the garden. Chloramines appear to be safe (according to studies) in our drinking water but used in the garden I question. I bought this product neutralizer for the purpose of neutralizing chloramines in my garden's water supply. Only time will determine if I've made a mistake.

A teaspoon is good for about 50 gallons.Proven Effective

Will last me for years of plant growing. It is absolutely effective at chlorine neutralizing. Test strip prove it. So simple to use.
