Excellent Product however....
I ordered 1 1/2 dozen of these and use in place of canisters in my kitchen. They are a sleek modern design with an acceptable sealtight lid. They are such a good product that I see Target carries them and I value the quality of Traget products.... however they were twice as expensive from Amazon which is the only reason this product received 2 stars. I was not happy when I saw this today as I am a Prime Member who thought Amazon had a competitive pricing structure. I will be more community retail supportive in the future despite the free shipping.

Misleading picture of product
I purchased the Anchor Hocking stackable square Jars 85753 There were 3 jars pictured in the product description I assumed that all 3 would be sent with my order Since only the small jar arrived I beleived that the others would follow in the rest of my order Since 3 were pictured I should have received the other 2 in the next shipment I think that it is deceptive to show 3 and then only send one small one The set can be purchased at WalMart for the same price that I paid for one (the smaller one)and they also ship I find that returning it is not an option since the gas to take to the P.O would cost more that this one small jar Caveat Emptor

Item was supposed to be a 2L 5.68"L x 14.62"W square glass container... What does6 up was one 4"tall...

fits right in
My husband purchased these from a different vendor and we needed another for oatmeal. Fits right in with the rest, may purchase more for other snacks we keep in the house.

Stack well
A little heavy but they stack well in my small cabinet and conserve space. I'm currently using for brown sugar, flax seeds. barley, and brown rice.

Storage worthy of display
I have a kitchen where my "pantry" is open. Storing pasta, chopped nuts, crackers, sugar, etc. needs to look neat while air-tight. These containers do it. Good value and extremely functional.

Square is the new round
Fun to have a square candy jar on the desk compared to a boring old round jar. Keeps the candy fresh and ready to share!

Beautiful container. Doesn't keep bugs out.
We have pantry moths, who seemed to had no problem getting into these jars. Walnuts, rice, oats... I had to throw a lot of food away. I'm so sad these jars aren't air tight and bug proof, because they really are beautiful. I wrote to anchor hocking asking if they are working on a more air-tight lid. No answer :(
