Pretty style, but see-through

It's a lovely style, but needs an undershirt, which is not very comfortable to layer since there is already a lining. The size chart is also incorrect - the M is a 10-12, so a little bigger than we expected.

it's a good blouse

it is good blouse, great material, pretty. I ordered it to small, (that's my fault). I gave it to my cousin, so i did'nt buy it for nothing.

Cute shirt, but see through

My daughter gets a lot of compliments for the shirt, but she definitely has to wear an undershirt as it's fairly see through. It was the perfect for her choir performance!

Beautiful and staticky

This is a beautiful top. It's perfect for my daughter's fourth-grade concert. I don't know if it is because it is January and very dry out, but this top is very staticky! I need to pick up an anti-static spray so it won't cling. As far as sizing, my daughter is 58 inches tall and has a 22-inch waist. The medium fits her well. If she were wearing this top with a skirt, I would have her wear the medium. Because of the reviews, I also purchased a large, which is the top she will actually wear for her concert. She will wear the large because it will look dressier with the velvet pants she plans to wear. So I would say it runs slightly small. It's definitely worth purchasing and both my daughter and I love it!

Beautiful shirt; great fit!

I needed a plain, white top for my daughter's orchestra concert. This shirt was perfect! The material is roomy and the bell sleeves give a nice detail. The top is conservative but not too stuffy or old-looking. My 11-year old LOVED it...especially with the necklace. The shirt has two separate layers to it, and the bottom layer is a nice lining layer to ensure that the shirt is not see-through. The over layer is more sheer and flowy. While the material is polyester, it doesn't feel cheap. I did machine wash it on the delicate cycle and put it on a hanger to dry; that seemed to work fine. Very happy with this purchase, and I highly recommend it.

This top is very pretty. My granddaughter absolutely loves it!! It does seem to be a bit narrow in fit, as was mentioned in other comments, so I took that advice and ordered the bigger size for her. She is 8 years old, slim and taller than most 8 year old girls; size Medium (10-12), was perfect. I ordered it for her to wear while performing in her school Christmas concert, in which case, white tops were required. Keep in mind though, it is a delicate georgette-like material and if you have a fairly active little girl, it may snag. There was quite a snag in it after a few hours and it's doubtful she can wear it again.

Sweet little top for dressy event.

It's lightweight, but does contain a sewn in tank for modesty. Purchased for upcoming orchestra concert because the kids all need to be wearing a white top and black bottoms (see also Amy Byer Solid Black Maxi Skirt). Based on the reviews of others, I bought both a medium and a large for a 10yo girl who is 57" and 70lbs. The large was easier to fit her arms through as she was putting it on. Once on, the neck is slightly larger than we would like, but the bottom flows a bit nicer. The medium would not allow for any growth, so we are returning. Therefore, other reviewers are correct, this top runs small.

very lovely well made shirt

this shirt was perfect for my daugher's choir concert. So pretty, and flattering. She is picky about seams / scratchy fabrics and found the shirt comfortable and felt confident in it. Very happy with this purchase.
