Extra Virgin fountain
I’ll concede bisque surface may be scratch resistant, the entire vessel seems sturdy, hopefully long lived. It’s clearly expensive compared to many oil dispensers, and should be well constructed. Which brings me to the cork stopper dispenser; it seems remarkably run of the mill. Mine looks different from the photo accompanying sales promotion. It’s not hinge lidded, it’s apparently not designed to seat flush into the bottle opening, giving an awkward, part inserted profile appearance. Fatal? Of course not, but somewhat cheesy and unbecoming to a $50. kitchen accessory. The cork appears as common as anything stopping Chateau Plonk, it’s lifetime almost certainly less than the vessel. Why cheapen a lovely oil dispenser with bargain basement spout?

Cute but small
I cook a lot and EVOO is a biggie at my house. I saw a few chefs on The Food Network with this exact olive oil bottle, so I thought it must be pretty good. I do like it, it has a good flow, but it is so much smaller than the listing made it seem- maybe I just had a larger image in my mind. I will have to refill this more than I am used to, but that is just fine. I ordered the charcoal color and it really is beautiful. I do recommend this item!

I feel so sophiticated!
I read that storing your olive oil in non-clear containers keeps it from going rancid but there aren't many non-clear cruets on the market. I've wanted this for a while and happened to get it on a great discount. I've only filled it once and I'm wondering how the cork/spout will hold up to repeated on/offs. Where this cruet really shines is when you just need a drizzle of oil. I like to lay out slices of sweet potatoes on foil to then cook in a closed packet on the BBQ while the meat is cooking. This cruet allows me to drizzle a little line over every slice (to then swirl around with a silicone brush) without me worrying that a traditional bottle would go glob-glob-glob and make a huge mess, or pouring first into a bowl, and potentially wasting some, to then brush on. When I grab this cruet while cooking I feel so fancy. To me its an expensive uni-tasker but does it's job well. If you don't mind the price and use olive oil often treat yourself or put it on your birthday list.

Two Broke
Bought one, cork crumbled soon after. Got a replacement, cork no longer stays in. Ugh. Return window passed, but I’m hoping I can get a refund anyway.

Great oil dispenser
Pros: - looks great, feels great and it's a product I'll enjoy pouring oil from. - opaque so you can keep it on the counter in light - good quality product - came well packaged Cons: - well it's relatively expensive, but it is French and rather a specialty item Just to be clear (pun intended), it's a lovely item and will last for years, however it's guesswork filling it and expect some overflow (wiping the bottle with fresh bread is a recommended cleaning method :)). It's opaque and I'm happy with that. It means I can leave it on the counter where the light can't degrade the oil inside. Bye bye Trader Joe bottle...

Expensive Leaky Oil Cruet
This cruet is beautiful. But that’s where it stops. This things leaks nonstop. Wish I read the reviews addressing this before I bought it. It now rests on my rubber utensil holder to save my countertop from being an oily mess at all times. I’m sure there’s some kind of seal I can put on it, but for the ridiculous amount I paid for it, I shouldn’t have to. The top also doesn’t sit flush with the bottle and I can tell this “cork” is going to fall apart very soon. Go with glass or tin or spend a fortune on this for a decoration.

Beautiful
I bought these bottles to hold olive oils and they are perfect for that purpose. They are also beautiful in a way no other opaque container could be. I suspected that the cork and metal pouring spout would not work, having had problems with these in the past, and I was right. I stopped trying to jam it in because it became obvious to me that I would never be able to get them out. I bought some black bottle stoppers with a pouring spout and a connected cover to keep the bottle closed, from Crate and Barrel. This works beautifully. Because the bottles are completely, opaque I also bought some Presstype from Michael's to label the bottles with the name of the oil. Emile Henry makes beautiful ceramics and these are worth the price.

Good size, nicely made
I have only had this for a few weeks, but I'm very happy with it. It is made well and pours well. The design and manufacture is well worth the price, it's quite a good value for what it is. I have not had the same issues some buyers have had with the fit of the top. It's difficult to find an opaque oil cruet, this one fit the bill well and was just what I was looking for.

A great little treasure for the kitchen
A great little treasure for the kitchen. Pours oil beautifully in a thin slow stream so that you can control the amount easily. And it looks nice sitting on the counter. A very nice gift for any occasion .

Looks nice but ...
Looks stylish, however I'm very disappointed in the quality. The cork doesn't fit in the bottle properly meaning that oil leaks when it's tipped up; the little flap at the top of the spout doesn't lie flat which renders it pretty useless as a lid; and to add insult to injury a dark patch has now appeared under the White glaze where the oil has seeped through the ceramic. 5 months later it'll be going in the bin, waste of money.
