Perfect mastectomy fit for prosthesis

I absolutely love this bra. My favorite mastectomy bra. I have been searching for good bras after my mastectomy to use with my prosthesis and been having a hard time finding one. I finally found the perfect bra with the perfect fit. The cup runs a bit large so get a smaller size cup. Also the back band runs small so go higher. Example, in non mastectomy bras I used to be 36B always. So i ended up getting 38 AA and is just perfect on the back and the cup size. 38 A is also ok but the AA is a better fit for me. Please DO NOT stop making these bras. I will be stacking a bunch of them just in case!

Too large for an "A" cup

First, let me say the quality and workmanship is great; very well made and soft. Why I did not like this bra is because for a size 38A, it was much too wide across the front. It reminded me of the surgical bra I had originally for my first lumpectomy. This bra fits more like an "A1/2 to B" cup. It looks nice so I decided to give it a try. I wore it once and half way through the day I noticed my underarms in pain. The fabric cuts because the cups were too large and I could not keep the bra in place. It is not too tight and fits a 38 but from top to bottom would be more for a larger cup size; way too wide for an A cup. The only reason I do not plan on returning it is because I wore it and that would be weird--so I lost $40 because I don't ever plan on wearing it again. But not to disrespect the company, it is very well made, just much too big for an A cup.

Bought by mistake, but perfect!

Not just a surgical bra. I bought this by mistake, as I was looking for a wireless bra. This is a great quality bra for anyone. I had to exchange the first of each I’ve bought due to size. I recommend sizing up in inches i.e.38 to 40 and sizing down in cup size i.e.A to AA. Both styles fit perfect and are by far the most comfortable bras i’ve ever worn. Excellent quality!

I've worn this bra once but I've been asked to review so here it goes. I didnt realize this is a mastectomy bra. It didnt matter. It fit my itty bitty girls. But like every other bra I've ever owned, it came off the moment I got home from work. This is no reflection of the bra, rather it's because I hate bras. And anything that binds. So, my 8 hours of wearing this bra was fine. I didnt think about how uncomfortable it was while working (this is a positive, trust me) and stood up to the AC in the office like a champ. If it still feels like this a few months from now, I'll consider myself stoked and might consider a second one in a different color. Thanks for covering up the nips.

Happy with this bra

I read the reviews that stated that this bra runs small in the band and big in the cup, so I ordered a 34AA. I am normally either a 32 or 34. The band fits snugly around but does not feel too tight. The cups definitely run bigger than the stated size. The AA is more like a size between A and B but closer to an A. However, it looks good under a tee and looks "natural," which is what I was looking for after my double mastectomy (no reconstruction). The bra is already padded but I inserted some extra cup padding to help retain the shape, and I am happy with how it looks and feel confident wearing it!

Tight. Fit for cup size and buy an extender

I’ve purchased this bra before in a 34B and the cup fits well enough, but unless you like the feeling of wearing a girdle, it is way too tight. I was originally measured by a trained prosthetic fitter at Nordstrom’s and am well within the range for a 34. The cup is too saggy on the sides if I go up to a 36, so I went to the local fabric store and bought a bra extender. They came in black and beige to match my bras ok. Not ideal, but it works, and I can breathe!

Lovely bra but tight

I bought my regular size 38c but the band of this bra is very tight, even on the last hook. I hope it stretches because I waited too long to return it !

stiff as cardboard

i expected more from the experts. it was so rigid and stiff i could barely bear trying it on. no way any amount of washing and wearing would soften it enough to ever be comfortable. had to return it.
