Great for small vanity

Upgraded vanity top in bathroom. Being a small vanity, needed a single hole sink. Previous sink was under mount and wanted something more stylish. This sink fit everything we were looking for. Looks great with new delta faucet.

shipped properly (much better than that orange and white logo big box store)

This sink is beautiful, as expected. Just wanted to note we had ordered this sink TWICE from that orange and white logo big box store. They sent it in a cardboard box with only a cardboard insert to limit movement of the sink in the box. The first arrived cracked in one corner, so reordered. The second arrived as shattered pieces of porcelain. We gave up and returned both and ordered from Amazon. Amazon shipped it properly...the same cardboard box with cardboard insert as the big box store, BUT that box was inside another larger box and packed with foam. The sink arrived in tact and beautiful. If you are looking more than one place, know Amazon ships this correctly and well!

Perfect Small Size

Perfect size for our new guest powder room (the room is still in progress so don’t judge). We had purchased an off brand small sink for another bathroom and were very disappointed that the “drop-in” style described was actually a wall-mount, so decided to limit our search this time to only a name brand that we could trust. Note that the Amazon header description says this is under mount, but it is actually drop in. I double checked the part number against the manufacturer web site to make sure this was drop-in.

Great if you need a small modern-styled sink

Our parameters were to find a sink that could work with an 18" deep cabinet, with a clean modern look. This was the third sink we tried. We first tried a small under-counter model, with would have just fit but wouldn't have left room for the faucet (we bought the sink when we thought we had room for a 20" cabinet). Next we got a round pedestal sink, with the idea of mounting the faucet slightly off to the side, but decided that the sink rim was too high for the cabinet. This American Standard sink was the perfect compromise, though my wife would have preferred an under-counter solution. I'm glad that it's a top-mount because it let me get away with doing my own countertop, saving us a pile of money. The sink looks modern and is well finished. It leaves about an inch of exposed counter front and back (the sink front to back is 16 1/8", though the cutout is smaller), which leaves room to do a tile back splash. We like that it's raised by almost an inch and a half -- it has a bit of a pedestal-sink feel, without significantly raising the sink height. We also like that it there is a wide flat space beside the faucet, where a soap dish can easily sit.

leaks

This sink is cute, but wish it were more functional. We put it into an antique dresser. I wish we had gotten a faucet that had some height to it due to the shallow depth, which is what we wanted, but there's just enough room to wash hands and nothing else. But the one thing that has been frustrating is the constant leaking. The hardware that came with it is the cause . My husband is very handy and has not been able to get it to stop leaking, no matter what he's tried. We've bought additional parts for it to replace what came with it and we've used Plumber's Putty, etc. Still leaks from the drain.

Hard to find smaller size sink

Built well and look good. They do feel a little small but it is impossible to find a sink in this shape that is either not going to dominate your entire counter or fit a super small foot print. In terms of quality they are well built and look nice and at the end of the day they serve their purpose well.
