Outstanding customer support
First, the bad: I bought an open-box faucet from Amazon and didn't realize until I had it partially installed that it was missing the little metal/chrome arm that controls the drain stopper. Now, the good: the faucet is well made, and the hoses are already attached (a surprisingly helpful feature for those of us who don't have much plumbing experience as trying to ensure that hose connections deep inside a faucet are water-tight can be frustrating). Most importantly, American Standard provided outstanding customer support: I called the number provided with the faucet and was able to quickly speak to a helpful representative who identified the part that I needed and promptly shipped it to me; when I had difficulty installing the part (hint: there is a hidden allen screw) another phone call to American Standard provided quick and competent instructions. American Standard's excellent customer support earned this 5-star review.

Contemporary faucet - looks great and works well.
2nd time owning this faucet (owned 2 before, purchased 2 more at our next house). It's simple but modern, solid, and very functional. Have had some interior parts fail in our last 2 faucets. American Standard will send new parts to replace/repair your faucet very quickly though and at no charge. Lifetime free support and warranty which is why I purchased again. The lever for the drain closure doesn't work great - need to usually push closed with my hand after. Opens with no issue. Would buy again.

Beautiful faucet, works perfectly, and a good deal to boot.
This is gorgeous, compact, and elegant, and it works beautifully. I wouldn't say it was easy to install, but it wasn't unusually difficult either; it's about what you'd expect to deal with when installing a new faucet. The engineering seems to be very high-quality and unlike another reviewer, we got a faucet with a flawless finish. I also love the way the plug opens and closes -- very firmly and definitively, thanks to the well-designed lever on the back. All in all, an excellent faucet and a very good deal at this price.

Quality Claims All Wet
Ordered 2 of these for 2 bathroom remodels. Both arrived with defective finishes. One had fine line scratches in the chrome randomly on the base and neck, mostly on the side that came in contact with the carton bottom, although the faucet was wrapped in plastic. The other faucet had small etchings and craters in the metal casting which were amplified by the shiny chrome instead of being consistently flat and smooth. The issue I have is that American Standard boasts in its description on Amazon about how strong and durable its finishes are: Judge for yourself from their description verbatim: "Indestructible Finishes: Through employing only the best finishing practices, such as physical vapor deposition, American Standard faucet finishes are some of the strongest in the industry. When the finish is actually incorporated into the faucet, rather than a coating on the outside, the result is a flawless appearance that eliminates tarnishing, pitting, and peeling while hiding scratches" What about the scratches right out of the box, American Standard? Hardly flawless or Indestructible.

Solid Stylish
Well made, likely to last as long as I do. Stylish. Totally satisfied. I bought the warehouse return at big discount; the defect that lowered the price was some tiny pitting which you can not see unless you examine it very closely in bright light.

Great tap especially for a small sink
When we selected this tap, our priorities were (a) affordable; (b) modern looking; (c) small and unobtrusive. This meets all of these and more. We just had our bathroom renovated and the tap is a great fixture. We got it in polished chrome, which is a great finish based on the rest of our interior fittings.
