Fit as expected

The product is high quality, plush and it has held up after being was almost daily for 4 months. Now we use it as a cover for our snuggle me organic. ****My EBF Baby had a blow out and the stains came out after sun drying**** ****Elastics are still holding like new after 8 months***

2013 - Present: Used for all of my 3 children.

When my first child was born in 2012 and after many diaper accidents in his mattress we decided to purchase a waterproof mattress protector. Tried other brands before, but none of them were truly waterproof or were so noisy that every time when my child rolled over he would wake up from the noise. Till we finally purchased this item during summertime 2013. My son slept like a baby, it didn’t overheat his body and kept the mattress protected! I purchased a brand new mattress and 2 more of these waterproof mattress protectors. My second child used the same one since he was born in 2015, then I give birth to my daughter in 2017 and now she’s sleeping on it. Three of these protectors lasted for all my 3 kids. Now my 2 year old daughter is going to transition to a larger bed, I’m sad I can’t use this brand anymore. Sad that they don’t make it in “full” size. I wash it in gentle wash in cold water once a week, then once a month in gentle wash on warm temperature. Then in the wasmachine on “air dry” cycle. This product lasted me over 6 years, almost 7 years. Definitely worth the money and the crib mattress still looks brand new!

Needs Longer Tie Strings

We use two of these side-by-side in the crib and that covers the entire middle area, where our boy sleeps most of the time. We have had to remove them for washing when we've had dirty diaper blowouts or he's peed through a cloth diaper. They are extremely useful in protecting the mattress and cover, so we love them. Unfortunately, we find that the strings on them are too short, so it makes tying them extremely challenging, especially for the side of the crib that is up against the wall. My wife, who is tall for a woman, can't tie the strings on the far side of the crib that is against the wall and has to wait for me to get home to tie it. Even then, when I tie it, it is not even close to being easy. If you have a crib that is not up against a wall or is easily moved, then the struggle to tie it is not nearly as bad, though, the strings are still too short. Unfortunately, after washing and hang drying, we experienced significant shrinkage, so now the strings are even shorter. It would be awesome if they could sell this cover pre-shrunk.

Hard to put on but super thick and comfy feeling

The mattress cover arrived on time and in new condition. Upon opening it there was a slight off putting smell that was gone by one washing. It is a cream color and is very thick. It made the crib seem much more comfortable than the thinner mattress pads we used, but it wasn't so thick that I was afraid they would suffocate in the newborn stage. We used this for our two boys and it held up great to repeated washing and drying. The only real complaints are that the padded area never seemed to reach the edges of the mattress. There would be a 2 inch area or so around the edge of the mattress that was only covered by the stretchy material. I know the pads are supposed to be super snug for safety, but this was hard to put on the mattress every time. I would have to bend the mattress at a 90* angle to finish putting it on. There was never any slippage though and the corners were nice and deep. I would buy again simply for the extra piece of mind that baby was on a very comfortable, safe sleeping surface.

Great

I love this mattress protector. We own this and the full size crib cover from American Baby and they are both great. I wanted something with an organic top layer to lesson any chemical fumes; the backing is polyurethane, I believe, but anything waterproof is going to have a non-organic substance. At least the surfaces closest to baby are organic. This is soft, with just enough padding to make it comfortable but still plenty safe for baby, especially with a fitted sheet on top. It easily fits both on our mini-crib mattress and our longer Graco pack-n-play mattress. I've been washing it for years and drying it on LOW heat with no problems. It often takes two drying cycles, but it has never melted or shrunk. Make sure it has spun well in the washer and that there are no puddles of water trapped in the corners before you stick it in the dryer. The waterproofing has kept our mattress safe through all diaper leaks, but isn't loud or crinkly. When our little one moved up to a twin bed I looked for a similar mattress protector and have been disappointed in all the options. Wish they made a twin sized one!

can I just say I'm in love with a mattress pad?

Holy cow, I absolutely love this crib mattress pad, it fits beautifully on my L A Baby Organic cotton 2 in one mattress! This pad is clearly going to last, I checked out a few at some local stores and they looked just as nasty as the cheap mattress pads I has growing up that have plastic underneath which pills up and separates and tears... This pad will clearly not be doing that, its a totally different construction, not an applied adhesive polyester or PVC surface. This pad is quite plush, being pretty fluffy, so I'll make sure to see how my baby's head looks on the sheet to determine its safety. It will be a totally wonderful toddler mattress pad though. There were no harsh odors or construction quality problems, the sides are so nice and stretchy and it goes on without a fight. I really want to buy another 2 or 3 of these so I never have to worry about not being able to find them later, I wish they were a little less expensive, but knowing I won't have to replace them due to poor quality reassures me and I know its worth the price I paid. If you don't like this, I'd like to know if you are satisfied with any other product, this is just the greatest and it didn't shrink at all in my wash.

Perfect and versatile

We purchased a bedside bassinet and it was really hard finding a waterproof mattress protector since the sizing is not standard. So I bought the multi-use pads and they are great! Can use them as a changing pad, lining the bassinet, really happy with the purchase. The cotton layer is really soft.

Soft, organic and really is waterproof

This product is great, I ended up buying another one. It's soft and comfy on the top and even the waterproof backing doesn't seem plastic-y at all, but like a soft breathable barrier. That being said, it is totally waterproof. My son has peed out of his diaper multiple times and the mattress underneath is always dry. The only one negative I have is that one of the two sheets I have, the elastic part has worn out and stretched after about 10 washings. I haven't noticed that happening on the other one. But I'm still able to use both because the corners and seams are quite fitted, it doesn't rely on the elastication part. But it would be nice if that hadn't stretched out.
