The recommended size was too small.

Classic briefs.
Could be a lil softer but overall good fit and quality

Really comfortable
Really, really comfortable. Soft fabric, smooth waistband, and great fit for all the dangly bits. Would buy again.

Elastic seems a bit weird, but is functional enough.
Legholes seem to have elastic that tends to get loose after about a day of wearing. It's pretty good when you initially put it on, but it sort of loosens as the day goes. I might consider going a size smaller, if I buy this again.

As Simple as possible
They got the job done and earned an average 3 stars for that, but they really are no better than any superstore brief, and even more so are worse than others. The fabric is relatively rough and thin and the waistband has nothing for long-term comfort. Definitely had marks on my waist after wearing them all day which doesn't happen with other briefs listed as the same size. I like that they don't have any branding on them, but they really do feel like the bare minimum priced higher because they are made in the US.

Quality very poor compared to originals
I was excited to find that American Apparel underwear was again available, as I was a fan of the originals-- they were high quality and comfortable, lasting for years. Unfortunately, while these have some of the styling, the materials and construction are inferior, with flimsy fabric and an inelastic waistband. The fit is also much different and, frankly, a bit odd. (Maybe it works for some people, but the high, tight waist is unlike anything from the original line or other brands.) I wouldn't buy these at half the price-- this is AA in name only.

Retro style
I was a fan of the previous incarnation of these. I purchased these in hopes of them being the same as I remember. They are mostly the same, the material feels just a little rougher. The waistline is not very stretchy, but I can't remember if the older ones also had that problem. I already have more on the way and plan on using these as my main underwear again.

Comfortable underwear
Comfortable as usual. I see they're not made in the USA anymore.

Large and saggy
They seem to be a different cut to AA briefs from back in the day. They fit well around the waist but the bottom is saggy and very unattractive. Disappointing.

Pastel pink pants.
Bought for a friend who opted for the 'baby pink' colour (London changes people.) so can't really vouch for them myself but he raves about brand in terms of comfort and durability. He did find that maybe going up one size from your usual seems to works for him. Certainly not cheap, especially with the International shipping, but everyone needs at least one decent pair of pants. Or so I'm told. There's nothing worse than being hit by a bus and your found to be wearing sone highly flammable Nylon-mix underwear. Well I say there's nothing worse, getting hit by a bus is probably worse to be fair. I'm going to shut up now.

No, no, no
I have bought American Apparel merchandise before so I know what to expect in terms of both fabric and fit. I will just say that this garment met NONE of my expectations. I would urge you to avoid like the plague.

Originals had a more substantial elastic waist.
More flimsy than the one’s sold at AMERICAN APPAREL. The quality is not as good as expected. They are not the same. A bit disappointed for the price.
