Perfect match for Home Depot's Hampton Bay Tiered Aged Bronze Finish plates

I purchased several of these because I couldn't find matching blanks for Home Depot's Hampton Bay Tiered Aged Bronze Finish plates either in store or on their web site. They are a near if not completely perfect match. As I suspected, the lightness and wavy looking texture in the first photo currently on Amazon is the result of over exposure and reflection. The plates are dark bronze as the second and third images show. In my image the Hampton Bay plate is on the left and the Amerelle plate is on the right.

These look nice on the wall.

We purchased this blank outlet cover because there apparently was not one made to match the decorative outlet covers we purchased. However, this aged bronze cover looked fine against the decorative ones.

Screws Too Short

I have these stepped covers throughout my house. All have been easy to install and look great. This negative review is specific to their blank covers. We use these to cover out-of-date telephone and cable outlets. In each case, the provided screws for the blank cover are too short. The provided screws are meant to attach to the housing of a switch or socket plug. Absent such, the screws must be longer to reacher the outlet box. As a result, I must use the old cream colored screws and paint the heads brown.
