Great price for 3 pairs

I’m a retail merchandiser so these are mandatory. I’ve gone through so many knee pads and constantly have to replace. I’ve bought brand name stuff that didn’t last. So far these have been good they have a very hard outer shell but not plastic. I suggest switching them out. Very durable. Only issue is it seems like they slip a lot and I constantly have to pull them up don’t know if that’s the Velcro band or it’s just the design.

Wont stay on knees

Cheap but painful for long sessions.

After about 2 hours of use while planting ground cover in my garden, my knees were all bruised. These protected them marginally. At one point I did take them off and tried kneeling in the dirt and the knee pads did help a little bit. Perhaps, if you only use these for a brief amount of time that would be fine, but anything longer than an hour and a half I would advise against purchasing these. The funny thing is, I don’t bruise easily, and I’m pretty fit, so I was very surprised by how my knees responded to these.

Straps are too short and dig in.

AmazonCommercial Non-Marring Polyester-Cap Knee Pads. A pair of one size only knee pads. There are 2 velcro ended straps both around 38cm / 15 inches long. The solid cap can be pushed in with a hard press of a thumb. The information leaflet enclosed suggests that there are 3 levels against cap penetration (0-2) however, the label attached to this pair says Level 0: No protection against penetration. This product is made in China. I thought that I might use these while gardening. The top strap which goes around the thigh is the same length as the lower one which would fit around the calf. I do not have large thighs and I didn’t have an added trouser layer, and the Velcro only just reached enough to join the ends. The 4cm wide strap is very stiff where the Velcro joins and this dug uncomfortably into the back of my legs when I knelt down. So overall, a disappointing product. No protection guarantee against penetration and short uncomfortable straps. Please click ‘helpful’ if you found this review useful. Thank you.

Protect the knees, but straps too wide and stiff for comfort

Don't get me wrong, these work as knee pads and have good solidity to them, but the straps are 4cm wide and made from a failry stiff, unyielding material, which makes them horribly uncomfortable if they get into the back of the knee while you kneel. You can of course position them with the straps above and below the knee, but after several stand up, kneel down, stand up, kneels down, they track down, and when you kneel again, the strap is right in the back of the knee, and it's really not comfortable. We tried them during a bathroom job, that had a lot of upping and downing, and eventually my other half took 'em off and reverted to a standard kneeling pad. I'll use them, and they'll look after my knees, but it's a shame the straps are so rigid. Another comment - my thigh circumference is about 45cm, and there's enough velcro to fix these securely, but not with a lot to spare. If you have more chunky thighs, these might be a bit tight

Ideal for work!

I do photography work so often find I’m working on my knees and they get painful throughout the day. These knee pads will certainly come in handy - they are incredibly durable and feel strong, the straps are velcro so they can easily be adjusted for comfortable. They are comfortable to wear and don’t feel heavy, they fit around my knee well and when I kneel down it takes the pressure from my knees. They do feel a little bulky when I wear them however this really isn’t an issue because I know I’ll be protecting my knees. Over time I’m sure I’ll notice a difference, as trying these knee pads makes me easier for me to work kneeling down. I highly recommend the Amazon Basics products - they are always exceptional quality and good value for money.

A Bit Insubstantial

This is the first AmazonCommercial product I've tried and I'm a little disappointed. AmazonBasic products tend to be well made and great value. These kneepads are a bit insubstantial by comparison, certainly compared to a branded pair I own. They are primarily made of polystyrene and I'm not convinced how much hard wear they will endure. They are held in place by two straps, and they do ride about quite a bit. I wouldn't want to use them if I'm wearing shorts. I appreciate these aren't hugely expensive and I wouldn't classify them as "commercial" grade. Good for light DIY, perhaps, and I'd always recommend having some kneepads in the toolshed. These are just about ok if you're on a budget.
