KO'd cat urine.
I recently decided to switch cat litter types, and one of my furballs was none-too-happy with the change. Ultimately my fault for the sudden change, but we seem to have overcome that now. Anyway, in the week or so it took Don Pablo to make friends with the idea of doing his business in a litter box full of pellets instead of his accustomed clay litter, he chose the basement rug as his preferred dumping and peeing grounds. Anyway, I tried my little carpet cleaner with a couple of the different solutions sold for it, and they didn't really even put a dent in the overwhelming cloud of funkitude that had enveloped my man cave. While the noxious odor did provide a welcome excuse to continue ignoring the $500 dust collection (rowing machine) unit I bought from this same site while lying to myself about the likelihood of me enjoying physical exercise, the stank had to go. I searched for an enzymatic cleaner of some sort, hoping it would prove more up to the task than my previous weapons in my way against the odor. When it arrived, I thought I would follow other purchasers' recommended multi-step approach to killing the odor, but as we have already established, I am a lazy man, so I simply filled a spray bottle with the cleaner and proceed to soak every spot on the carpet that lit up under the blacklight. It is now about forty-eight hours post application, and the stink is gone, so while I'm unlikely to now begin a quest to row my way across a virtual sea, it won't be because the basement smells like cat pee. Anyway, use a blacklight to pinpoint the places where your critter did their business, and hit it with enough of the cleaner to really soak into the fibers of whatever your bratty fur child chose to anoint. Voila.

Seems to detour male urination
We brought an adult male dog into the home of 3 female dogs. I mopped and spayed items directly and he has almost completely stopped his peeing completely after a few weeks

Works on cat pee!!!!
I have an anxious cat, as a person with generalized anxiety I feel for her. But I also feel for my wallet and my house every time she has deemed any small thing as a reason to have an absolute panic attack. I’ve tried many many many of the expensive “urine busters” for sale at home improvement and pet stores and all I found was most of them are full of overwhelming perfumes, and also most of them don’t actually work against cat pee. Dog pee? Yes. But not cats. Cat urine has a higher concentration of uric acid in it making it harder to get rid of the smell. You can cover it up with vinegar and ammonia and perfumes but you’re one humid day away from reeking of it all over again. This not only works better than many name brand urine cleaners but it is much cheaper than them too! Highly recommend

Kind of works
It removes the smell for the human nose but my dog keeps peeing on the same spot

For bad odors skip the spray bottle!
We have a rescue that was being a little bit bullied by our other cats and ended up urinating on the landing to our basement stairs. We got the bullying issue fixed, but we couldn’t get the smell out. We tried every urine cleaner in existence both cheap and expensive and also tried home remedies. There was still times where we just kept getting a hint of urine smell in that area. This stuff works like a charm but you need a black light flashlight and if it’s a bad area or older spots you HAVE to pour it directly on (undiluted) and soak the entire area. Skip the spray bottle, been there done that and it’s just not enough. First, use a black light flashlight in the dark to find the spots. (Be prepared to be grossed out, it shows what you can’t usually see.) Next, pour the enzyme cleaner on each spot enough to leave a bit of a puddle and saturate the carpet. Do not miss a single spot! Keep checking as you pour it with the flashlight. Once you have thoroughly soaked all the spots then mist the area with a little warm water and use a gloved hand or brush to work it into the carpet. You’re done for the next 24-48 hours! But that was the easy part so rest up and be prepared. Don’t let it dry completely before you go to the next step. After the enzymes have had time to do their job you need a Little Green Machine or something similar (handheld carpet/ upholstery cleaner) First you will go over it with just suction (no water or cleaner) to suck out any liquid. Next, you can use a solution of hot water and a little rubbing alcohol with one tiny drop of Dawn to rinse and pull out all leftover enzyme cleaner. This part takes patience…it suds a lot. Rubbing alcohol makes the suds disappear so keep a mist bottle nearby for when you’re emptying the dirty tank. You’ll have to empty and rinse it often or take a lot of breaks to let the suds settle down. Last, just let it dry. It takes a lot of elbow grease and patience but it works like a charm.

not as good as scoe 10x but it will get the job done eventually
You'll have to apply more of this product compared to Scoe 10x but it does work to get out cat urine odor from clothes and blankets.
