Functional and easier to manger than the heavy metal crates!
I have had this product for over a year now. I use it as my temporary crate when camping or traveling. It is light weight and can be moved easily. I have an 85lb Labrador Retriever and a 42lb Shepherd mix. They both can fit comfortably inside. I do not leave them together in the crate for long, usually only if I need to briefly separate them or if it is safer for them to be contained. I like that it had an opening in the top as it allows me to access the back of the crate when cleaning. The straps that it comes with are a little confusing. I remember it coming with instructions but lost them when moving, but I do remember it explained how to assemble the crate in a decently clear manner. Overall, I would purchase again if needed too.

Convenient Crate for Traveling to Dog Shows with My Labrador Retriever
This is a very convenient soft crate for traveling with my 75-pound Labrador Retriever to dog shows. It is large enough for the dog to lie in there comfortably, yet light and compact to carry when folded up. The shoulder strap and handles are great and make carrying it easy. At home, we keep our dog in a foldable, 48", two-door Precision dog crate, but I find that to be too large, bulky, and heavy for travel. I would have rated this crate five stars, except that 1) it has only one "door" (I wish it had two entries - one on front and the other on the side) and 2) the inside gets relatively warm (in contrast to our regular metal crate) so that I have to open the top vent /zipper to air it out while dog is in the crate. Pros: - relatively light in weight - sturdy and seems to be well-built - foldable - it folds and unfolds easily - easy and relatively fast to assemble for one person - handles and straps make it easy to carry - two relatively large accessories pockets, one of which can be detached - fleece liner is a nice feature - (even though it won't be warm enough to protect from cold of concrete floors) - clip to hold folded-up crate leaves enough room to place additional dog bed/mat inside and it still closes (we have the Kurgo Wander Dog Bed) Cons: - has only one entry (on front); no side entry in case you need to set up the crate sideways - gets relatively warm inside I am not sure if this soft crate would be large enough to comfortably fit larger dogs than ours (75-pound Labrador) that like to stretch out when in crate. Overall, excellent crate, well suited for our purposes. Would recommend!

Great value!!
I want to preface that my 10 month old pitt mix is crate trained and has been his whole life. He loves his crate/room! We were officially ready to take a road trip with him, but he's not ready to sleep outside his crate or not have the comfort of his crate with him to rest in. Travel crates are so expensive!! Not this one! I worried it wouldn't hold up, but we put it up in our house for a week before we left. Did some training with him so he knew it was his space, and he was good to go! It fit (folded) in the backseat of my Honda civic. Worked nicely as a barrier for him and the front seat. Popped right up at our vacation spot, and was just like home for him! If your dog is crate trained, this is a great, cheap, sturdy crate for travel! Our dog loved it!

Good quality
This dog crate is so worth it!! It’s very easy to assemble, GREAT for traveling. Our dog is a German shepherd mix and we ordered the 42 size and it’s perfect. Comes with a little padded bed attached to the bottom which is nice. The pockets are great for storing extra stuff that comes along with traveling with a dog, and the strap that is detachable is great for carrying and not to mention it’s very light weight. Highly recommend!

Huge!
So we bought this for our puppy (English springer) that outgrew a traditional crate. I knew it was big but wowee it’s BIG. He can sit up fine in it and sprawl out. We actually play fetch and throw the ball into it as a stopping point. It’s comfortable and breathable. He feels safe in there and I don’t feel bad when he’s in time out for being a cat bully bc he’s not smooshed or uncomfortable. We haven’t traveled w it yet so I don’t know take down but putting up was easy. It has storage on it but no idea what you’d use a pocket on the backside for.. overall I’m very pleased w price and quality!

PERFECT COLLAPSIBLE CRATE
So my dog is a 68lbs lab. I got the XL 42” and it was H U G E ???? but he loved it. So I’m returning it and getting the 36” one. I definitely recommend it for the car or to use when boarding so you don’t have to transport a wire crate. It’s easy to put together and fold back down

Light, sturdy, portable
I am so pleased with this dog crate. Easily Folds flat for travel, lightweight, super sturdy material and seams. Best of all my pup loves it. He has never liked his metal crate, but this one he will go into to throughout the day. My pup is a mixed breed and may grow to 30lbs. I got the 30” and it’s huge for him, plenty of growing room.

3 weeks in with our GSP puppy, so far so good
I ordered this to bring our 8 week old German Shorthaired pointer home from the breeder, since I was going alone. I added a soft blanket and a couple of toys because I knew she might wake up after the hour drive to meet me. She did great on the hour and a half drive home, the kennel in the passenger seat next to me. She napped some and played some, so it was nice to have her contained and not exploring while I drove. She weighed 11.7 pounds when she came home. We are also using it as her night time sleeping crate, and she's doing well with it so far. I'm a little concerned it won't hold up to abuse as she grows, with her sharp teeth and claws, but she seems cozy in it once she settles. She has been home almost a week and sometimes goes in there on her own during the day, too. Edit at 10.5 weeks of age: she likes to chew on the zipper and support posts, but it has held up so far. I did put a washable pee pad on top of the pad that came in it, just in case. So far, she has not had an accident inside it. It is a little bulky to use as a carrier, but helps with car rides because she doesn’t like sitting still while I’m driving like she did the day she came home. She has room to grow yet; she is about 16 pounds. This was a great purchase for her. She sleeps in it well every night.

Buen producto buen precio

Good sturdy fabric dog crate
Very pleased with this crate! I was surprised at how sturdy it is! I had a different brand of fabric crate last year and it was no were near as sturdy and good quality as this one! I baught this for my BIG 11 month old labrador for our upcoming holiday, its huge! We could of got away with the size down. I am 5ft 2 and I can fit inside it with him!! Only downside I have found so far is the instructions are not very clear so it was quite fiddly trying to work out how to put it up but once I worked it out it was pretty simple! I like that it closes down as one unit and clips together. My old fabric dog crate you had to remove the poles and had a separate storage bag. All in all I am very impressed with this dog crate and my pup loves it too!

36" Used in the car for a large Goldendoodle. Entry points on short side and top only...
Read the description very carefully. I didn't! I just 'saw what I wanted to see', if you know what I mean... We have been using a soft crate in cars since we had our big boy. Keeps the mud and sand in one place and keeps him safer. The zip broke a couple of years ago, but he likes it so much that he won't jump out. Crofts Classic is the make of the one we have had for 5 years. It has similar dimensions to this one, but is 3" taller, however, my laid back canine has accepted a lower 'ceiling'. He always lies down, curled up. Dogs like confined spaces for their 'den'. We needed another one so we don't have to keep swapping it between our 2 cars. This one is reasonable quality for the price. The main problem is the placement of the openings. They are only on the short side, 24", and on the roof, so unless you have the depth (36") of space in your vehicle to place the short side facing outwards as an entrance/exit for a smaller dog than mine, this definitely won't fit in your car. I have a family-sized SUV, my husband has a 4 door Jeep. Only about 24/5" depth to use for the crate in my car, so the 36" side has to be placed at the front when you open the hatch. I solved the problem by placing the crate on its side, so the 36" roof opening faces the hatch, as the dogs entry point. The base then lies on its side against the back of the rear seats. I am aware that this means that the crate won't last as long, because the base is where the reinforcement and strength is, so the base really needs to be UNDER the dog. I was going to send it back, but I couldn't find another 36" x 23" x 27" Crofts Classic and the nearest similar one was over £150! I'm just a bit disappointed that the people who designed this didn't think about how it would be used. It would be so easy to put entry points on one short side and one long side. Amazon, please take note!

Great Puppy Carrier - High quality and worth every penny
Purchased the Amazon Basics Premium Folding Portable Soft Pet Crate - 76 cm, BLACK on 29 May 2022 for £50.26. This was bought initially so I could easily transport my puppy Chester to the vets I mainly use as a travel container in my car and specifically purchased the largest pet crate/carrier that would fit the front passenger seat of my car. So that I will be still able to use when my pup is fully grown. I got my puppy used to entering and leave the carrier with dog treats, without locking him in, just to get him used to being in the carrier. Next, I locked the side entrance and left the top open and got Chester used to being put in the carrier by picking him up and putting him in with a treat or two, then would remove him and do the same again a few more times. Then I would fasten the top as well with him in with a treat that would last a few minutes. Again, I would re-open the top and lift him out and repeat a few times until he new what to expect. I then moved the empty crate to my car and then made a few short car journeys with my young puppy when very young so that he got used to being enclosed in the carrier when the vehicle was moving. Now when I pick up my dog’s lead and go out the front door he will move to the car as we regularly take trips out to parks, friends and the coast etc to go walking. Therefore, he does not associate the crate as a bad thing (going to the Vets) but as a potential good trip out (A walk in the woods, a trip to the coast or local garden centre, friends or family etc). Also used when my dog stays at friends or family to sleep in overnight. Can be used as a dog cage when travelling. Easy to store and clean. A very high-quality item, which I use nearly every day to transport my pup to walks. Made of strong high quality material. A number of pockets for doggy items to be stored and even a pocket that can be detached or attached to the carrier for additional storage. Also has strong lifting straps which sometimes can get in the way when putting the dog in the crate/carrier from the top. Initial issue was the side entrance is held up by Velcro strips, but hangs down a little therefore my pup would try and chew on the unzipped side door. My pup did not initially like to be fully enclosed in the dog carrier, and would scratch at the side. However, I moved his attention away from being locked in by giving him a treat that would last a couple of mins, which distracted him. Now he does not need the treats and settles down very quickly as he nows we are likely going out for a walk. Because of the holes in the side panels, I can put my hand near the cage and Chester can smell me nearby and will settle down. Could do with an additional opening side panel on the length of the carrier, so that when my dog gets heavier, fully grown he would be able to jump into the carrier in the car himself, without me having to lift him up and put him in from the top of the carrier. Probably only an issue due to the model of car I drive.

Happy I finally made the purchase!
I had been looking at buying this travel crate for a long time and I am so happy I finally did it! I have a 8 month old Labrador Retriever (50lbs) who sleeps in a crate in my room at night. When he outgrew the one I had I wanted to replace it with one I could easily take on the go with me. I have a 42” metal crate in the living area but it is heavy and noisy when I bring it along traveling. I wasn’t sure about the colour options since all the stock photos look different from the photo they have with the dog in it. I went with grey in the hopes the hair wouldn’t show as much as the black; I love it! When it lays flat it's light and easy to carry with a handle on the side. I bought the 42” size and although it seems large I appreciate giving my pup the extra room to move around. The 36” may have been to short and narrow. The quality seems sturdy. I wouldn’t leave a dog who doesn’t like being crates inside as they could chew through if they don’t have another toy to keep them occupied. The only change I would make would be to have the Velcro on the door match up horizontally to where it sticks, it seems odd it doesn’t. You’ll see my other dog who is 85lbs fits inside and loves it. They both fit in together, there is ample room! Great buy.
