snug but flexible

These fit true to size, and the color matches my computer monitor display. The material is soft and opaque, but the slight compression feels snug, and though it's flexible, that tight weave means the fabric does want to pull down over wider hips unless the waist is hiked pretty high when you first put the leggings on. Since it is a polyester/elastine blend I will air dry or dry on low to maintain the flexibility of the fabric and integrity of the design. Pay attention to their size chart and inseam length so you know what to expect. I also like the pockets!

Quality material. Smooth versus scratchy. Not sheer.

I always hold my breath when I try on a new pair of leggings. Are they going to be scratchy & itchy? Or are they going to feel like a second skin? These are on the smooth side. The weight of the fabric is "medium to medium-heavy". The polyester and elastane combination does a good job kind of "holding everything in" or "tight" (for lack of a better term). They make my legs look sculpted. How does the BEHIND/butt fit? Since I have a flatter, borderline pancake butt, that is the second thing I want to know when shopping for leggings. The fit of this is somewhat smoothing, however, it does not elevate or sculpt my rear-end. It also does not make my butt look any worse. The rear-end fit is basically a "wash" or neutral. I did not expect that it would elevate the back-end since this requires different stitching and/or a tighter band of fabric under the seat. COLOR ("multi-color dots"): It seems like this fabric pattern is an optical illusion. When I took it out of the bag in daylight, it looked grey with a yellow/green (almost gold) undertone. In darker light it appears to be pure grey tones. I tried to photograph the material up close. Very difficult to capture the true color of this.

Great for everyday run around leggings.

I will fully admit to being a leggings snob - most of my leggings are Athleta or Beyond Yoga. And are these as good - well no, but that's not what they are trying to be. They absolutely are top of their class which I would say includes, Crz Yoga, 90 Degree, Yogalicious, etc. The waistband in these is better/less pinching. The pockets are wider than I think any other leggings pocket I have. The seeming, if it has to be there, is flattering. The fit is what I would call supportive - so you know you have them on and they don't slip around. My only real drawback is that for whatever reason while they fit everywhere else the ankles are baggy - which is just weird. not a big deal but I don't think of myself as having particularly skinny ankles for my size. They have absolutely entered the "daily leggings" which come into regular contact with my dog, cleaning, yard work, etc. And they are holding up great.

New favorite!

I got these to actually workout in. The material is my favorite, it's the silky kind of legging, that dries pretty quickly. They are high rise, so helps to keep everything tucked in and smooth. They have large pockets! Big enough to put your phone in and not worry about it falling out!! They even make your butt look good. I love these leggings, new favorite. The only negative is the tags, they seriously come with a small novels worth of tags, it's ridiculous. You can see them in one of my photos. I'm so thrilled with these leggings, I'm going to order another pair. I ordered my usual size and they fit perfectly.

Comfortable leggings for summer

These leggings are true to size and fit well. I am 5’5”, weight about 160 pounds and I ordered Large. They fit comfortably, not too tight and not loose in the waist. The length is just right for me. The fabric is not too thin, it feels smooth and soft, other than where the seams are. Seams feel a little irritating on the calves and that’s why I took one star off. I like that these leggings have pockets. I like the color. These leggings are good for being outside in warm summer weather. I don’t exercise, but I will wear them for a stroll in the park. The price of about $25 at the time of this review is reasonable.

Nice, a bit odd in the sizing

These are nice athletic style leggings. They are a synthetic smooth style fabric and seem built more for exercise & activities than for lounging. There are nicely sized pockets on both sides. The XL leggings I got are a bit loose in the legs and a bit tight in the waist. The waist is consistent with other athletic leggings, but it's a bit odd that the legs are a bit on the loose side. Overall though these are nice. For the price there are other options - I'm not sure these are really a 'deal' like Amazon Essential's stuff tends to be. But they are fine.

Good compression

My wife has difficulties finding the right leggings for her body. She has a boyish figure so trying to find something that isn’t too tight in the waist and more fitted in the legs is a tall order. These leggings from Amazon comes pretty close. The have a spanx like fit but not as restrictive. The seams accentuate her curves beautifully. It’s thick enough to hide an imperfections and best of all no ugly camel toe. Easy to move in and feels very cooling during workouts. Washes really well in cold water and air dry. My wife is 5’5 , 115lbs and the small fit her well.

Nice legging but thin material

These leggings are of a thin material but well made. Not much support if that is what you are looking for. I like the two pockets on the sides. These can work in summer but not a nice winter legging. The legs are looser on these leggings than my normal leggings.
