Good quality, runs small

These are every bit as good as Sonoma from Kohl’s, they’re hard to tell apart. But they do run a size small, I normally wear 34 but had to get 36 in these and they are not super loose or falling down, they fit the way 34’s normally would for me.

Bermudas shorts

I bought three pairs of bermudas shorts for my dad and we just received them right of way and they fitted perfectly, my dad is so happy with the shorts ????, his reaction was priceless!!! Thank you Amazon!!!

The Size is TRUE TO FIT!

I am a size 36-38 and I thought that these would be cut big as most of them are. Mistake, the 36 are too snug on me; I ordered the 38 and it was a perfect fit. I won't be returning the 36 because I will louse ( I hope) some weight and the price is %50 cheaper than the others. They are Well made and are an Amazon prime product that I love. You will notice the colour difference in the photos the 36 are a dark green and the 38 are a medium Grey ( I don't care about that) I highly recommend this product; take note colour may vary. Some reviews say that they fade out in the washer; my Grandmother taught me to turn your pants inside out when you put in the laundry.

Spot-on fit and very good quality for the price

I've been searching for the last year or so for good shorts with either velcro or buttons on the back pockets. I like carrying my big wad of cash in my back pocket so I want to make sure the roll of 20s don't fall out when I sit down somewhere. I've been buying Docker brand shorts for many years, but they no longer make their dress shorts with secure back pockets. This being Arizona where most of the year it's luke warm to hot weather you really need a bunch of shorts to wear near year-round. So I thought I'd try these Amazon branded ones, and bought a size 32 with a 9" inseam in the cheapest color they had just so I could try them out (color teal for around $13). This way if I didn't like them even after breaking them in and washing them it wouldn't be a great financial loss. Packaging is easy and generic: inside a simple plastic bag and a small tag. No stickers, nothing else to have to remove. Just take out of the bag and remove the simple, generic, barcode tag. I noticed that the stitching was solid with sturdy thread, unlike a lot of other brands that cost twice as much and yet seem to scrimp on the thread. These feel very well made. The buttons are solidly stitched on as well and should last a long time without falling out. Zipper runs up and down very well also. When I first put them on I thought the inseam might not be the short 9" that I prefer because it felt like it was a tad too long and was rubbing the back of my thighs, which really annoys me, hence my desire to always buy shorts with the shortest inseam. Well, I almost returned them at this point, but thought, "what the heck, for $13 I'll wear them some more and give them a try". Well, after a couple of hours of wearing them and walking around all over the place the hem softened up enough that it no longer bugs me by rubbing against the back of my thighs. So that's definitely a plus for me! I started to give these a one star downgrade for the only nit I have against these shorts: the front pockets seem to be about 1/2" to 1" shorter than I prefer. I would prefer to have the pockets be just a little bit deeper, in which case I'd give them a solid five stars. But because of this, I'll give them 4.51 stars and just round up for the overall very good quality and really good price. They're not quite Docker's quality, but they come close. The only difference, besides the pockets being a little bit shallower, is that while the cloth material is pretty thick (compared to many other brands I've bought over the years), it's still a fraction of a mill less heavy cloth than Docker's. So buy them if you want to try out something different that's nearly as good as top end brands, but costs a third of the price. But if you carry a big wallet in your front pocket then maybe not. But my Samsung Galaxy S21 does fit well in my front pocket along with my smallish wallet. I just wouldn't recommend carrying two big items in the same front pocket. PS I'm going to buy a few more of these to replace my worn out Docker's

Amazing

I’ve been in search of a decent pair of shorts without cargo pockets that are reasonably priced, AND BOY THESE ARE IT. They look great, they’re comfortable. They fit fantastically. Their not made out some weird material that makes me sound like I have snow pants on. 10/10 absolutely love these

Nice shorts

This is the second time I’ve bought these shorts. Nice material and well made. Only complaint is that the 36 inch waist is somewhat too large. A seriously I’m a 36.

Well made, soft cotton, and good fit.

For this style of short, these are great in every way….soft cotton, perfect fit, true to size, well sewn, nice pockets and zipper. Lots of colors but the khaki brown looks light and very beige to me. Don’t see a true khaki or British tan by looking at color chart. They need a true khaki brown color. Anyway, if this style short is what your looking for, they’re worth trying out.

Great Casual Shorts

I purchased these for my husband to wear casually. These fit true to size and are a great pair of casual shorts. I took one star off as the button closure is already loose after only wearing one time. I reinforced it and it isn’t an issue.

Too small

Beautiful shorts , sadly the sizing is something to be aware of when ordering .my boyfriend is normally 36" waist , which I ordered , as it said they were true to size . When they arrived they were at least 4" too small on the waist band . So they were sent back . Sad really cos they really are fabulous shorts

Love 'em!

Absolutely incredible shorts - true colour, they fit amazingly and are SO comfortable! Some of this clothing that Amazon Essentials do is just otherworldly in terms of how good it is! I mean, I'll put it this way... I've got a pair of Jack & Jones shorts that are absolutely fantastic, in every imaginable way...but they're not quite as good as these shorts from a company that began as a seller of books rather than clothes! (among other things ;) What more do I need to say? Forget name brands; Amazon Essentials is the future of clothes!

Perfect Fit, Perfect Colour

The product arrived bang on time and fitted perfectly. I am a standard 33 waist which is often difficult to find so I was delighted. The colour - Stone - I have also found difficult to get elsewhere. Again it was exactly what it said on the tin. The material is soft, not heavy but not thin and how Amazon do it for the price I have no idea. But I am so pleased with them I have already ordered more pairs in different colours just now.

Color no tan igual a la imagen buena tela aún así.

Me gustó bastante la tela es gruesa y de calidad de la cintura creí que seria un poco estirable como cualquier pantalon pero no así que hay que saber pedir la talla yo uso 29 a 30 lo pedí 29 y me quedo perfecto el color se ve más clarito en la imagen y ya cuando lo tienes se ve opaco el color y lo digo por que acaba de ver un pantalón como el que muestra la imagen y al ver la bermuda se veía más apagada el color caqui.

Pleasantly Surprised

I was pleasantly surprised by these shorts. The quality is good and the fit, for me, is bang on. Was a bit worried by other reviews so nearly ordered a couple of extra pairs - one slightly larger, one smaller - but just went with my normal size and they fit really well. If I'm being pedantic, maybe a tiny bit larger on the waist but I mean tiny. Actual fit and comfort is really good. Will buy more!
